iSuperKamiTenchi-kun Deil Grist Just an FYI: You had your bonuses for 1st and 2nd gates listed as a fifth of a rank bonus (1/5). The actual bonuses are half ranks (1/2). (( ... I had them listed as each gate gave a .5 rank... which is a half... ))

That's from your post at the top of page 4. 1/5 is .2, not .5.

Nakaya got up and listened to the short exchange. Nakaya had grown to love the knuckle head's knuckleheadedness. Hasu's words were like preaching to another preacher. Taka was the way he was and he knew that his life expectancy was about three days shorter for every battle he engaged in. Nakaya smirked at Takashi's response. Typically speaking, arrows were faster than men. Still, his expression dropped when Takashi went on to question about the attackers. Takashi, they were stealthy enough to evade my sensing and your senses for as long as they were, they might have had a long time to plot out our course. Besides, it doesn't matter, what matters is getting the heck out of this forest. Come on, he began reaching down and lifting Takashi up and holding him by his shoulders. If you kick off on time with me, we won't slow down the group. He didn't give the Dragonil much choice as he began to count down. Ready... set... leap... with that, Nakaya would jump to the lowest branch, then to the next highest, back to their original elevation on the way to mist.

Saiyuri stood idly by on the side of Takashi, trying to suppress her smile. She crossed one arm over her body and used the other to cover her mouth. Trying to convince Takashi of anything other than what he thought was like trying to teach a rock how to sing a song. Looking over to Nakaya, Saiyuri could see his reaction as well. When he moved to help out Takashi, Saiya was relieved. Takashi really did work himself to his limit every time. Nothing could ever be done on a low level with him. She shook her head as she looked down at the floor once before jumping towards a tree, following after Nakaya.
As she jumped from the trees Saiya couldn't help but have her mind thinking about Hasu. He had dispatched his enemies with relative ease and did not look like he even broke a sweat. He was an ANBU member apparently, and had acted with total mysteriousness. Hasu came off as harsh, but Saiyuri could not deny how right he may be at times. Saiya alit upon a branch and then shoved off once more barely disturbing the large branch. When they had a chance to speak properly Saiyuri intended to speak to Takashi and Nakaya about their temporary squad leader.

   Hasu...(Tsukiakari Hikaru - [RPC Profile])Konohagakure | ANBU (ROOT division)Hikaru saw no reason to argue with Takashi... the young man, or boy as Hikaru saw him was clearly lacking in any kind of ability to reason properly or see the logic of the situation. So, he didn't bother to note that Arrows travel faster then people, or to point out that not all physical fighters would necessarily be stronger then archers simply based off of archetype. He wouldn't bother to point out that the energy drain bombs never had a chance of killing Nakaya, or even hitting him... nor would they have had a chance to harm Takashi had he not leaped onto them and taken the blast at short range.
It wouldn't have even done any good to point out that the tree trunks surrounding them were at least 20 foot in diameter and wouldn't have even had a chance of being knocked down by 10 explosion tags, let alone two energy bombs which could have at the worst lodged some portion of their shrapnel into the bark, much less so cause collateral damage to the Canopy of the Forest. There was no need to argue that Yuki soldiers, as a fallen village, commonly take to banditry or mercenary behavior and that the very fact that they got the drop on them in the way they did meant that they had been tracking them for a while... though Nakaya did do a good job of pointing that out. The thoughts rolled around in Hikaru's head, nearly boggling his mind with the shear inaccuracy and ignorance which was just spouted off to him, but he said nothing.
There is no arguing with people who fail to acknowledge logic and Hikaru wasn't about to waste his time picking the man's arguments apart. He simply stood and stared, hoping that maybe somewhere in the young boy's mind, he would realize that after all of his supposed reasoning and all of his inane excuses, that Hikaru was the one still standing and he was the one helplessly lying on the ground. Seemingly amused by the whole scene, possibly due to being used to their teammate's conduct, Nakaya stepped over and helped Takashi stand and move through the forest, propping him up by one shoulder as they began to make their way to the docks. with Saiyuri following behind them quickly, Hikaru took up the rear, climbing up into the canopy with ease along with the others as they traveled through the branches of the forest once more, the Docks to Kirigakure not far ahead of them.{{Exit to Land of Fire: Konoha Docks}} [Chakra: 20/25] <==> [Stamina: 20/25]
