Sam is your very typical older brother figure. He takes great enjoyment in teasing his little sister Maci, and her friend Raidin even more so. He was that kid who would leave spiders in your bed, pull down your pants in public and try to drown you at the public pool. He's the oldest, and is fully aware of that, taking advantage of it.
Though as he grows with age, he mellows out a bit, though won't hesitate to beat up Raidin for fun still. He's actually rather responsible when it comes down to it. He's had years of experience in training his Pokemon, but only let's it show in battles.
It's also almost kind of a running gag. Sam gets forgotten rather easily, or left out. Which leads him to get rather angry. -usually taking it out on Raidin-

Sam was born in the small town in Johto, New Bark. He was raised with his younger sister Maci, and her friend Raidin that he basically viewed as a younger brother. He always had a strong interest in Pokemon, and would occasionally sneak out his mom's Pokemon to battle with them. When he was to finally get his starter Pokemon, he arrived late so all that was left was a Totodile to his disappointment. -He hates him at first but grows a love hate relationship with Flapper-
At the beginning he starts off as the closest thing to an antagonist, running into Raidin and Maci a lot, usually getting into little sibling pester fights with them, enjoying knocking them down a peg or two if he could. Though after the time skip he's matured and mellowed out a lot, being a lot more serious then he used to be. He now also travels with with the younger two, and the new addition Kara and Ryoji.
Almost all the girls in the story enjoy teasing him, which he's not too happy about. While it seems the tables have turned and he's the one getting teased now, he still gets his moments of redemption and pulling out his old big brother habits on Raidin.

Maci • His baby sister. He loves nothing more then to be the older brother he is and torment her and Raidin. The two squabble and butt heads a lot of things, she enjoys stealing his Pokemon too when she gets mad at him. Over all though he's very protective over Maci and loves her like a sibling should.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ • MALES
Raidin • His might as well be little brother. Knowing the boy sense he was in diapers, Sam treats him like the little bother he sees him as. It's not out of the ordinary to see Sam punching him, pantsing him in public etc... Despite how much he picks on him, these two share quite a brotherly bond. In his own way he's rather protective over him too.

Raidin and Maci • The two people Sam enjoys tormenting the most. He's practically helped raised both of them sense they were in diapers, and actually looks out for both of them alot. The three are rather close, and probably the people Sam cares about the most.
Raidin, Maci, Takara and Ryoji • Sam is tsundere for his group of companions. He had always preferred traveling alone, but some how found himself caught along with all of them. Despite the fact he's the one forgotten the most in the group, and is the butt of most of the jokes, he kinda sorta wouldn't have it any other way. Going from who Sam is with the most and knows best to the least is: Raidin, Maci, Kara, Ryoji.
