Housekeeping update (March 9th, 2011):
If you've noticed the member count of the guild dropping lately, it's because I have been sifting through the member list and removing members whose last login dates for Gaia are more than about a year old. Since in some cases, the profile is either not public or doesn't display the last login date, I based my estimate on the date of their most recent forum posts. Of course, that's still fallible, so if anyone's been removed who shouldn't have been, just hit me up to correct it -- removal is different from banning, so no one's actuallly been locked out for ever and aye. wink
Trying to do a little bit of housekeeping here; of the three of us that started up this guild, I'm the only one who's signed on in the last couple of years, so I did some administrative rearranging earlier to reflect the dictatorship current oversight status.
I also realized it's time for a crew rotation. That is, while I do tend to check in at least once a day, there are times when I'm out of touch for a few days, and while you guys have yet to trigger a single gray hair, it would nevertheless be good to have a couple folks who can check new join requests, make sure nothing's exploded around here, things like that. Hold on a second! I'm not calling for volunteers, at least not yet; I'd rather do the observer thing and pick a member or two to PM and ask. But if you think you'd be interested, at least make sure your PMs are on, y'know?
I've fallen so behind with the reference library, it... well, I threw in a couple more today, but there's a lot I'm missing, I'm sure. Alright, now I'm calling for volunteers: marijuana news, please! If you run across an article you think should be in our reference library, feel free to post it there yourself, or if you'd rather not or you want me to look over it first, send me a PM about it. 3nodding
