Mouse's Family Name: Patricia Alison Whitmore Grey Nickname: Patty, My Lovely Assistant Age: 30 Gender: Female Family Position: Mommy! (official Guardian) Status: Married to Teddy Occupation: Magician's Assistant, Accountant History: A fun and loving woman, Patricia was the middle child out of her siblings and the one who best adjusted to being in foster care after their mother could no longer keep afford to keep them. Her elder brother, Sigmund, ended up joining the military to keep from falling into trouble in the city they lived in. He has since been doing moderately well and is at least somewhat happy with his career in the service.
Her younger sister DID fall into trouble during high school, getting knocked up by her boyfriend and being kicked out of their home. Patty had to work part time to help support her sister, who had dropped out to be able to work and care for her son. Eventually, Nicky did manage to get a good enough job to take care of her son on her own, and Patty was able to get on with her own life.
Patty went to college and eventually became an accountant, which she still does at least part time. She met Teddy when he came for help understanding some of his questions on his finances, rather soon into starting her job. The two of them fell in love almost immediately and were married after only three months of dating. They've been married for a few years now, and quite happily.

Name: Theodore Alonzo Grey Nicknames: Teddy, The Magnificent Alonzo, Honeybunch Age: 46 Gender: Male Family Position: Daddy! Status: Married to Patty Occupation: Stage Magician, Escape Artist History: Teddy was born and raised in the circus. His Dad walked on stilts, his mother was a trapeze artist, and the circus they worked in was quite like a family to them, and always had been. So when their son was born, they more than encouraged his desire to be apprentice to the group's magician, as Terrence was getting quite on in years and was hoping to retire to the country with his grandchildren at some point in the next decade. Teddy wasn't the best school student, though he did try to take a few community college classes when he was a teenager, even if just to have a small degree and a somewhat more rounded education.
Most of his classes were art ones, and he had always been poor at certain types of math when it wasn't explained well to him, so he had a lot of trouble handling his finances. After a while, he was put in touch with an agency that would help him sort his debt and troubles out, and they put him in touch with an accountant to help him - that ended up being Patty Whitmore, and the rest is history. He's been happily married to her ever since, and she's been more than happy to be his assistant for shows, though keeping her regular job to keep them on stable income.

The Arrival It had been weird enough actually getting transported elsewhere during her husband's magic act, but for Patty, the weirdest bit had been trying to explain it to her husband afterward. For one thing, how do you explain that rather than slipping down the trap door on stage, you ended up in a ring facing some strange guy who handed you a vial before poofing you back to where you were supposed to be coming out anyway? It seemed almost like a surreal dream, com from trying to make a boring routine activity less-so. But Patricia loved her work, and she really had been quite surprised and upset to be dragged away from it, worrying about how her husband would look if she wasn't back at the end of the trick, and how upset he might be that she was gone. Her only proof that it hadn't been complete insanity was the vial that was safely tucked away in her pocket when she returned.
Telling Teddy that they had to get baby stuff now because some guy handed her a glass thing of liquid and told her so was completely ridiculous. If she didn't know better, Patty'd have just forgotten about the thing and not bothered with the baby stuff. But maybe it was the strange draw the item had to her – or just the fact that it had been real magic that gave this to her – she couldn't bring herself to disbelieve. Unlike his wife, Teddy was actually much more open to this idea and immediately jumped into questions and asking about how things had looked and wondering what sort of baby they'd get. He was the older of the pair, but by far the more open minded and fun. Patty'd been raised more serious and analytical, so to her, the idea of even telling him was strange, but soon as the words were out of her mouth, she knew it was the right decision. Teddy had more than believed her – he had been excited and willing. In time, his enthusiasm even managed to work her out of her worry, and the two began to prepare a room for their little one to be, not entirely sure of anything about the coming tot.
It was probably best that they HAD waited before getting anything too specific, like clothes or decorations, since when their new daughter arrived, she was not at all what was expected. For one thing, she was teal, and had a tail and did children usually have that much energy? But besides all of that, she was so tiny! A small, snuggly little ball of blue-green and soft fur, that wanted to climb into everything and explore so much! Patty was surprised at first, but the adorable wonder her new daughter displayed at the world won her over fast. Teddy, meanwhile, had instantly taken a shine to the tot, picking her up and tickling her, earning little chitters and giggles. That scene alone was enough to make Patty positive that she'd made the right decision to believe the man who gave her the vial – this little girl, who Teddy was already calling Mousey for her tiny size, was going to be just the daughter they'd always needed and wanted.
