"Lazy son of a b***h." That final phrase was not part of the summoning spell that Nigel was currently performing, but he didn't really care much at the moment. This was mostly because Zak had ditched him with yet another summoning - and right after his late-night one too! He'd just finished summoning a guardian the night before, and was in NO mood to do it again so soon.
Seriously, he was going to summon a demon next just so that he could let the thing loose in Zak's study.
Nigel narrowed his eyes as the magic began to pull forth the to-be guardian of the vial that he had tucked away in his pocket. It was the form of a woman, he realized after a few moments - not that it made a difference. He didn't really care WHO the new parent was, so long as he got to go relax once he was finished with this. "Welcome to the Arrington Mansion, Miss."

Patty was almost POSITIVE this had never happened before. She knew her husband was good at his magic act but generally, when he made her "disappear" she was generally going into a trapdoor or behind something. It did not often end up with her in some strange person's house with a random man greeting her.
"Ah! Who're you?" she said, in surprise, wondering just where she was and what this guy was doing in front of her.

"That's not something that you need to concern yourself with." Well, she'd given a fairly typical reaction - MOST people tended to flip out after they'd been summoned, after all. He'd pretty much stopped concerning himself with it, figuring that the woman would calm down eventually on her own. If she didn't, it wasn't like it mattered, since he'd be sending her back with the vial soon anyway. "The only thing that you need to worry about is this." From his pocket, he produced a vial a fluid, which he then proceeded to dangle in the woman's face.
"This is yours. I'm sure that you can feel it pulling you in." Nigel took hold of one of the woman's hands and set the vial into her palm. "If you don't have any baby supplies already, then I suggest that you get some."

Patty stared at this man for a few moments, dumbstruck at the ludicrousness of his statement. "Don't need to concern myself with who a guy I just somehow appeared in front of is? Are you out of your mind?" the woman emphatically gestured as she said this, barely hearing him say she needed to concern herself with something else.
That was, until he presented the vial and started talking about baby stuff. This stopped the woman right in her tracks. "Excuse me, what did you say?" she asked slowly, raising a brow at him.

"After living here? Quite possibly." Living with Zak was more than enough to drive anyone crazy, really. Hell, he was quite certain that living with an ex-convict who'd done time for serial murder would leave him with more sanity that Zakaria Arrington did. The blond mage was just THAT infuriating.
But now wasn't the time to be thinking about that.
"Baby supplies. You can get them at any department store, I'm sure." he said simply, taking a step back from the woman. "Trust me, you're going to need them. Oh, and make sure that you don't drop that vial." He was probably confusing the poor woman, but that was pretty standard; she'd figure it out when the kid came out of the vial.

Patty stared at the vial in her hand before shaking her head. This was weird and strange and at this point, she was probably not going to get anything useful out of this guy. "Okay then...can you send me back to where I was now? My husband will worry."

"Trust me, it would be my PLEASURE to send you back." Now that the matter of the vial had been taken care of, there was no longer a reason for Nigel to keep the woman here - and he wanted to be done with summoning for the day.
The redheaded mage snapped his fingers, activating the circle that the woman was standing in once more before stepping back out of it. "Good luck!" he called as the magic began working to return the woman and her new vial home - thank God. Two summonings in one day was more than enough for him!

Patty was a little wobbly, clutching the bottle to her, right as she appeared back in the trunk she was supposed to be getting out of at the end of the trick. Luckily for her the meeting had lasted only just long enough for them to move onto the next trick and her to be able to 'appear' in her husband's stead in a locked trunk he wasn't supposed to be able to get out of. Thankfully for her, none of the audience saw that she actually HAD just appeared there.
Slipping the vial into a pocket on her costume, the woman smiled and bowed as the big reveal was made and made a note to take care of discussing this with her husband after the show.
