 Evelyn
Evelyn barked rapidly in fury upon being denied, this Pokemon was hiding her identity. She must be a wanted felon! There was no way she was going to just walk away now, Evelyn could see through her plans. Napping, as if. She'd heard better excuses from Alec and he didn't know how to spell his own name properly. The Growlithe advanced forward and would continue advancing until the cloaked Pokemon was either back to a wall or just stopped backing away from her. Inches away from the face obscurred in the shadows of the hood Evelyn snapped her teeth around the fabric and began to pull at it unmercilessly, shaking her head from side to side as her wild ancestors would do to shred their prey. Evelyn wasn't a violent Pokemon by nature, she was really a sweet heart but when it came to her friends possibly being in danger she tended to take the whole 'justice' thing overboard. She felt only a little guilty over her actions, mostly that the Pokemon honestly thought Evelyon was a cop. No, it was her dad's hat. He was a real cop and like him she would be someday. She'd start by cleaning the world of this heathen!

✗ ??? ✗Instinctively, as soon as her hood was grabbed, her hands shot up to keep it in place, and she pulled as hard as she could without letting it rip, though she was sure those sharp teeth were tearing at the sides of the fabric. "Let me go, let me go!" she shrieked, feet planted firmly in the ground now so she couldn't be moved from where she stood. Well, even without doing that, her weight was far too much for Evelyn to move her without help...unless she was really strong or on steroids or something.
She really didn't want to hurt the Growlithe, but she had no choice. She had been pinned into a figurative corner, and more out of defense than anything else she had decided to do this. Three medium sized silver balls of energy formed around her, rising up into the air above them before shooting downwards at Evelyn. Though fast, she made sure that the fire type had time to get out of the way of the AncientPower if she chose too, and if she didn't...well, if anyone had cared to notice, the aim was a bit off. Only one of those three would hit, and not as hard as it should. She only wanted the Growlithe off, after all, not beat up!

 Evelyn
The Growlithe snarled and she shook her head violently from side to side, the Pokemon's pleading was ignored entirely. Why would she accept the begging of a criminal?! Her paws dug into the ground, kicking up dirt and grass around her in her efforts to rip the cloak loose from the hooded figure but to no avail. It was held firmly on and the Pokemon itself had to weigh a blasted ton. For all the strength she put into it, the creature didn't budge an inch and Evelyn was no dainty little girl. She was made of tougher stuff, she could take a hit and she could put up a good fight, but this was ridiculous. The Fire type didn't notice the orbs begin to levitate over them, nor did she even register she ws being attacked until one struck her in the center of the forehead. The resuting shock of the attack made her yelp in alarm and let the cloaked Pokemon go before she toppled backwards onto the ground with her hat falling off her head. Evelyn blinked past the stars erupting in her vision before narrowing her dazed eyes in anger an opening her mouth. Flames swirled between her teeth, fire licking at the edges of her maw and in her fury she unleashed the Flamethrower at the Pokemon. If she wouldn't forfeit the cloak willingly...it'd be burned off.

✗ ??? ✗The cloaked figure shreiked in alarm once more as she saw the Flamethrower coming, another silvery orb forming in front of her though it only absorbed half the flames. The other half hit her side, and they began to eat at the fabric, burning holes here and there. The pokemon didn't seem so bothered about the fire and more about her cloak, almost as if she couldn't feel it on her.
The fabric itself was tough and thick, the flames didn't spread over it as quickly as it should have and only some parts here and there were becoming exposed. The dark tips of her fingers began to show, and she quickly brought her hand to her body, clutching the flaming sleeve with her still good one. This did little more than just spread the fire onto her other sleeve, and she began to shake from side to side as if she could shake off all the embers. "No! Don't look at me, don't look at me!"
A nauseous feeling, her stomach felt like it just flipped. She fell down on her knees, grabbing her sides. What was this feeling? She felt light, everything around her began to blur. Her surroundings, she couldn't feel them anymore, it was like she was being lifted off the ground, carried away...
"The entire building is cloaked in a Psychic shield which repells violence, fighting is not permitted!"
Those words, she remembered them. She saw them somewhere on a sign before getting into the garden, at the time she thought it wouldn't apply to her, she wasn't going to get into a fight...at least, she wasn't planning too. Is this what teleporting really felt like? Or was this the feeling of being kicked out by force? Either way, she didn't like it, and she could already feel her breakfast coming back up...
The last Evelyn would see of her was a bright light as she was booted out of the area for breaking the first of the rules. If she was to pursue, it would have to be through some kind of scent...though a shadowy figure was sort of noticeable on it's own..

???A mothim with brilliant blue iridescent wings fluttered his way across the garden. He flew low, going around rather than over the flower patches and hedges, preferring to stay right over the cobblestone path. His flight slowed the closer he came to the Guild Exchange building, his eyes wide as he stared up at it. Just a few meters away from the entrance, at the line created by the shadow cast from the building, the Mothim stopped and finally fluttered off the path, landing on a bush. He continued staring at the building, made a move towards it, then quickly retreated back to a stable perch on the brush.

 James
James walked through the garden slowly as he took his time along the trail. It was a nice place, though the smells stung lightly against his nose. The garden was very fragrant which he could imagine was rather pleasant for most pokemon, but for him it was a little bit overpowering. It seemed ever since he came to the city his sense of smell had become more a curse than a blessing. Ah well, that was fine. He was getting paid for the trip. He did a lot of odd work here and there and this was one of those jobs. He knew a couple of people who owned various businesses and one of them needed a message delivered to the exchange. It was nothing so complicated as to require a letter and James was always happy to have the money, not to mention it gave him the chance to indulge in the baser aspects of his being. Of course, he had been careful to wash away any... evidence of such acts before arriving. The guilds were less than hospitable to people with blood on their teeth. James found himself pausing a distance from the entrance as he caught sight of the patterned blue in the middle of the garden. Nice colours... Wonder if they're real? James took a few, slightly louder steps towards the Mothim before slipping around in front of him. "Nice wings. Are they real or did you dye them that colour?" James held back a toothy grin (he'd learned not to smile in front of strangers) that made him seem a little odd. His voice was friendly and chipper, but the strangely stoic expression he bore came across as out of place.

???The Mothim jumped at the sound of someone approaching, fluttering up higher into the air on reflex. He hovered at a safe distance above the Mightyena nervously. Pokemon...weren't allowed to eat each other in the cities...right? "Um-um I-" And then the Mothim caught himself, realizing that he did not sound proper for his station at all. He paused a moment to force himself to gather his composure, and forced himself to come back down to land in front of the Mightyena. Don't show weakness. They only go after the weak, the ill, and the old."Of course they are real. These wings have been the mark of the Ulysses family for generations. I am Skye Ulysses, former aide to the Princess of the Monarch clan." He kept his wings wide open in a natural reflex to look a bit bigger. An idea came to him, but he hesitated. Maybe it was best to get away from a potential predator as soon as possible...but Skye had no idea how to get into the building...or what to expect inside...or how to accomplish his goal at all... Society outside the forest was a little beyond him. Buildings and artificial constructs are just like...mind breaking for him. Ok...so maybe he needs a bit of help. "And who might you be? Might you be a member of the guilds?"

 James
James grinned. On the inside, anyways. The Mothim was pretty scared of him, not that he really needed to be. They were just about as tall as each other, though James had a good half a foot over him. Though, he did have a menacing set of teeth (even though he'd taken care to avoid flaunting them) and quite a bit of weight that was accompanied by a rather menacing appearance, so it wasn't that surprising. "James. Just James, no last name. I'm just doing a job for someone, I'm not a member of the guilds anymore. Nice wings though." He had been once upon a time which is why he was willing to take the job. He was familiar enough with the layout to know things would be easy. Though, judging from things, while he wasn't new the Mothim in front of him certainly was. Puffing himself up like that and trying to look intimidating... Even if James was hungry, he didn't eat bugs. Not to mention the way he spoke. The unnecessary pride in his lineage and all that... he was definitely someone from the wild. It was easy to spot new ones like this the moment you talked to them. "From the looks of things, though, you're lost. Do you need some help?" He didn't mind taking a minute to help the guy out as long as it didn't turn into a lengthy expedition.

Skye "Anymore?" Did this pokemon used to be a guild member? Which made Skye a bit nervous because all sorts of things came to mind as to why this Mightyena might have been exiled from the guild. (The option of "he probably quit" didn't really occur to him) "No thank you, my destination is just this building here." He replied to the question nervously, his wings fluttering slightly as he gestured towards the Guild Exchange. "It was very nice chatting with you James sir, but I must get going now. Good day."The Mothim hopped into the air, but was then left with a bit of a dilemma. He should probably get into the Guild Exchange now after what he said, but he wasn't entirely sure how. He couldn't see any openings. (Doors are a bit of a foreign concept to him, and at this time of the year the windows are kept closed.) So Instead he hovered awkwardly on the spot for a moment, wanting to get away but at the same time not being able to do so without looking absolutely silly. Aaaahhhh what to do.

 James
James shrugged, half-aware of exactly what the problem was. A lot of pokemon that were new to society had trouble with this and that and it was terribly obvious that, in spite of the Mothim's efforts to mask the fact, he didn't have any idea as to how he would actually get inside of the building. James wasn't really certain of the exact problem, of course. He didn't have any idea what kind of homes pokemon like this... Skye fellow tended to live in. He just knew enough to know that something was messing with the bug-type's head. The Mightyena walked up to the door and lightly pushed it open a good distance before turning slightly to look back at Skye. "I can take you to the help desk, if you want. I'm headed there anyways." All he'd been told to do was to deliver the message through the help desk to one of the employees.

SkyeSkye fluttered on the spot as the Mightyena came, slightly tense. But relaxed when he pushed the door open. Oh, so that's how they worked. He entered the open door, having little choice less he be rude. The...Help Desk? That was where he was heading, and now that he thought about it, he really didn't know where it was... "Ah, thank you. That would be fine." He accepted the offer, hoping it wasn't too far.
