Neuschwanstein- Never mind, I've got the hang of it (spelled it without even looking!). I'm glad that my mom's so involved with my writing- she makes sure that I have enough time each day to do it and doesn't mind me staying up late. xD I think people who have their parent(s) supporting them is lucky.
Chan- I agree completely with the clipping elbows and the like. The smaller the injury, the more it hurts. You know? Um, otherwise, whenever he has a hot beverage, he could spill it on himself. That always sucks.
Sapph- At least you're not giving up on the book, right? Who knows, maybe you could reach the goal in a week or so! x3
Voldemort- I feel like I should be saying 'point two' instead of that. >.> Um, nearly lost my train of thought. Actually, I did lose my train of thought. Yay for not giving up, though!

I feel so sad now! I had no idea what NaNoWriMo was until about five minutes ago! Oh well, I guess I'll just have something to look forward to next year!

Don't you guys think its sad we have to wait an entire day for a single reply to our posts? Anyway...
Chezhire, I think parents make more difference in a person's life than anything else. So, if they support you're writing, your chances of actually becoming published are about 90%. I don't ever want to take for granted how great my parents are. My mom has alway supported me from afar, but ever since I started this NaNo-thing (I don't know what to call it since its December) she always wants me to read my latest 2k words. Its really nice.
Sapphirianna, you hold onto that thing with an iron grip. You'll get a gold star at the end, even if it's an e-star that I send to you in a PM.
Voldy... now I have to go look up Potter Puppet Pals. 90k is outrageous! Thats exceptional, and I'm rooting for you to hit 100k.
Music, I missed NaNoWriMo this year too, which is why I'm doing it for December. I know its not quite as exciting cause its not official, but its just a great boost for your writing. And I'm actually digging all the time I get off for the holidays.

Nice, Voldy! (Much, much better. xD) I don't think I've ever hit 100k on anything I've written. Ah, it's nice to dream.
Neuschwanstein, they definitely do! I don't have that much support from my mom- at least, not in that manner- but just having her stay with me through it is really encouraging. My mom and dad actually just got me a gift for completing it. biggrin It's nice that your parents are so supportive too!
AND, I just finished the word count! 50k, on the site, all nice and shiny there! I'm surprised; last year I had to struggle in the last day- but then, I've gotten better at writing since then. x3 Another successful Nano!

I hit 100k. I just finished my novel, and I think it's really good. Well, the ending bit is really good. Not sure about the rest of it. :/

Three cheers for Voldy! Huzzah! How many pages is that? Like.. 300? Thats quite a novel. Now you get to do all the fun editing... I'm actually looking forward to editing my story. I come up with all sorts of fun little ideas to stick in here and there in my re-write.
Chezhire, cheers for you too. I'm really excited to pump out 50k words, not just cause I would love to finally completely a story, but also because I have the feeling my writing skills will improve immensly.

Whoop.. It would help if I remembered this thread Ugh, Thanksgiving 'Eve', Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, (passed out Sun more or less), then Cyber Monday ... very busy packed weekend e.e I'm exhausted
=o Last day of NaNoWriMo ...
Thanks Princess.. That might be fun to have just one thing go wrong.. I was more thinking 'everything' goes wrong for the main character of the Sinking Stone.. And yes, heh, I'm pushing 80k now.. not that bad, but I feel like I should be further @.o maybe 's just my nuttiness lol
Wow Voldemort =o congratulations on the writing
Good job Cheshire ^^
Music- don't feel bad, I learned about it a couple years ago but never did it until this year heh

Eek, Chanthar- I can't put my characters through so much misery. Is it like, comedic bad luck, or tragic bad luck?
And, another question: Do you already have some sort of plot line in your head? Or do you just have this character, and you want to mess with all his bad luck?

I was thinking more of a 'woe is me' sort of character.. he pities himself over everything.. he blurs the line between little and big things.. I was hoping more for comedic bad luck. I don't have a plot developed yet (distracted by other books) but I had an idea for having him find the sunny side up rather than the butter always landing on the floor sort of mindset..
And NaNo is done where I am.. =o 87,200 words recorded .. I really kinda hit a roadblock on the last day.. I should have just skipped and moved on rather than try to work through the current chapter that I hit a brick wall on..
