Okay, I'm having a major panic attack about appendicitis again and I'm feeling terrible. I have a headache and just a little bit ago my side felt funny, which triggered the panic.
I'm feeling sick to my stomach as well, so that doesn't help either.
I believe, though, that I would be in more intense pain than this, but my brain doesn't want to think that right now.
Please pray. About both the panic attack and my physical symptoms. (Do note that I just recently had a head cold as well)

I will pray for you.
Can I ask though, have you ever had appendicitis?

squeakygirl I will pray for you. Can I ask though, have you ever had appendicitis? No. I don't believe you can have it twice, though. It's sometimes deadly and they have to remove the appendix. Two reasons I'm afraid of it. One: it can be deadly. Two: you have to have surgery to remove the appendix. I've had surgery once and I pray earnestly that I won't ever have to go through that again.

Sapphirianna squeakygirl I will pray for you. When I was younger, I used to always be afraid that I had appendicitis. Sometimes, I'll get a pain in my side and wonder. It doesn't do well to worry, though. I understand. I hate hospitals, and surgeries are something that I fear.
How severe is this pain? If it is a minor ache, you probably don't need to worry. You may have just pulled a muscle. If it is more severe, you may have reason to be concerned.
How long has this pain been going on? Does it come and go every once in a while? Appendicitis pain tends to be a constant ordeal.
Test yourself. Push around the lower right side of your abdomen. If the pain intensifies, go to a doctor immediately. Be sure to push carefully. Don't push too softly, but don't push too hard either. Be firm.
Does it hurt worse when you bend over? Does it hurt worse when you raise your right leg closer to your body? Does it hurt to squat?
Have you been throwing up? Do you have a fever? Throwing up and having a fever, especially the latter, are almost always symptoms that are present with appendicitis, especially if it's bad.
If this pain has been persisting for a few days and has gotten worse, you have reason to go to the doctor. If it has been the same, it's probably not appendicitis.
God bless. I will pray for you, sweetheart.

It's an on and off thing, and usually, it doesn't last very long, but long enough for my brain to go a bit nutty. (like right now, even though I know I need to sleep and I've had a rough day)
I'm mostly paranoid. After I went to the hospital last year, I started to have these panic attacks about stuff that could kill me and I could do nothing about. I'm not afraid to break a bone. Heck, I'd rather break a bone than to go throughout life in panic mode. (I've broken my wrists before)
I guess the ITP stuff really scarred me mentally and spiritually. Not much physically. I mean, I have a scar from the surgery and my doctors have to be careful of what meds they give me, else it might ruin the good platelet count. I'm still struggling to get back into the groove spiritually.
Satan's really found my weak point and he's having fun with putting doubts in my head about God. I had a good month just recently, but I'm sliding back... Doi... I've been trying to distract myself with stuff and when I do get a panic attack and I tell my parents, they try to help, but after a bit, they start to sound tired of telling me the same stuff...
Most of my fears are of medical crap and tornadoes (nothing else, really, just tornadoes in the weather category, hence me being terrified of thunderstorms).
I've pretty much gone insane since my hospital ordeal. It sucks. *sigh*

Have you tried to immures in more bible studies to keep yourself busy or any after school activities like drama club, or the school new paper? I'm no fan of thunderstorms or hospitals ether. I grew up on the flattest part of North Carolina. When storms came, and there were no where to hide. Then with all my medical problems, epilepsy, paralysis on right side and living with only a half functioning brain.
Still praying for you

Better, but it comes and goes. (Like now. Dang it! Quit it! *pokes lower right side* meh.) I'm getting better at controlling the fear over these panic attacks.
It's mostly annoying than anything else. I'm afraid I've gone slightly insane... sweatdrop
