My Fears...

User ImageUser ImageFrom her seat, Eriko watched Masashi-Taicho leave and mulled over his words. It would send the wrong message to everyone. Did he really care about what other people thought? Apparently, he did. Well, that was something. Silently, Eriko took up his cup, washed it and returned to her mat. And how was it not proper? What, friends don't sleep over by each other? Everything had appeared to be going fine between them but this was...different. She had always managed to keep true to herself, forget what others said about it. It was the only way that she had managed to survive her childhood as well as to join the Shinigami despite her brothers' opinions.

"Damn it," she said after lying down for a few minutes. It was not that big of a deal but still, she could not let it go as yet. Maybe a few days or months would alter her opinion on the fact that her crush cares what other people think. Eriko rubbed her forehead and got ready for bed. She had expected Cho to have something to say on the subject but the spirit did not make any noises, not even appearing above the physical blade. When everything had been taken care of, the youthful Taicho snuggled on the previous mat without a sheet, whispered her wish for Lee's rest and lay there until sleep caught up to her.
