Hello everyone!
A close friend of mine is going to get married in the not-so-distant future and I was thinking: which is the best month to get hitched, you you think?
I'd also like your reasoning, if any.
P.S. I left out the winter months.
Kisses!

Well in Oklahoma it gets quite warm in those summer months and is still cold in March/April. I voted for: May. In general when I think of may I think of flowers and sunshine and happy things, which you want associated with weddings! Also if it is later in May then people are out of school (middle, high and college) so more people can attend (if that is what is desired).

I'm doing an outdoor wedding, We've set an early September date. May is also good, but my birthday is in june and i didnt want the dates so close together, lol. Its not to hot or cold that way, plus everything is all flower and pretty.

I'd say definitely not july or august for an outdoor wedding! May or April for an outdoor one sounds good.

I think August would be best, but any fall month is good.

Personally I've always wanted a winter wedding XP but then I'm odd (Jan/Feb- after New Years and hopefully have somewhere where it's snowy. I think it'd be fantastic to leave the church in a horse drawn sleigh-) Not to mention you could go to New Zealand or Australia for the Honeymoon (since that's their summer months).
Otherwise, March can be lovely depending where you live, in the south you get a lot of wildflowers, and if it's in late March you start getting blossoms other parts as well.
Admittedly I know a lot of people who are/have been married in August. That way most people are still out of school, families can go on vacations, and people can make it to the wedding. On top of that the weather's usually nice (albeit hot).
I think it just depends what your going for ^_^ If your a beach person? July! I've always been more fond of cold, damp weather (Personally I find it far more romantic) so winter months are more appealing.

well. I picked May, because in Texas by mid to late May It's nice and warm, green, and it's not super hot yet. By late, late May its getting to hot. If you want a summer wedding though June in some parts of Texas is still really pretty. But July through November isn't very pretty at all, and late November through early May it's still pretty cold. Texas really only has around three seasons: Winter, Summer, Spring. Summer and Fall are kinda the same, they are both really hot, and mostly brown-reddish in colors.
