Poetry post: Post on this page where a few lines of poetry will be written to set the current mood of the roleplay. (Yes, I write all the poetry.)
Oh father I have seen the light... I have no reason to fight... I have found my way... Now I know why I breathe today... I can change how the future will be... I can finally be set free... You have shown me Lord my friend... I know now that this isn't the end... It is just the start of it all... Oh how great it feels to stand up tall... You have given me a new set of golden wings... Thank you for cutting away all of those rusty strings...

Home sweet home...
It wasn't a particularily nice evening when Yaholo stumbled back onto the reservation where his remaining family and tribe members resided in a little campground sort of huddle. The wind was fierce as an out of control leaf blower and the signs of a dangerous thunderstorm were already showing. He hurried along the forest pathway holding a sleeping infant in his arms only to stop at an oak tree and gazed back at a brown haired toddler who was walking with great trouble a few feet behind him. He heaved a sigh as the boy tripped over a tree root poking up from the ground and walked back over to him to scoop him up in his free arm. Now almost in a sprinting motion, Yaholo ran through the thick forest with amazing ease until he reached a cleared area where a few tents were pitched. Once his breath was caught he moved forward to one of the large tents set in the middle of the others and unzipped it. He stepped in with one large leap and set the toddler and infant down inside of it just as a loud crash of thunder rang through the trees and the rain came thrashing down. A sigh of relief escaped his mouth as the rain pounded on the tent's roof. Good, he managed to get them both to the reservation without a single scratch or bruise to their little bodies. That is what he thought until the toddler tugged hard on his shirt sleeve.
"My arm gots blood on iiit!" He cried out, although he shed not one tear as Yaholo took his arm and inspected it carefully. Sure enough, the little guy had a large scrape on his arm which was probably from all the times he tripped and fell forward on his way here. Yaholo had offered to pick him up and carry him along the way but he shook his head and stated that he could walk all the way. Poor kid didn't know that it was a five and a half mile walk from Durem to the reservation. They had stopped and rested many times due to his slips but as soon as the wind started picking up speed and people were complaining about how it was going to rain Yaholo said that they could no longer stop until they got to the reservation. Still the little one slipped up but refused to be picked up and carried. That was a bit strange to Yaholo as he thought all young children enjoyed being carried around. His younger brother had taken to being carried rather happily, he had fallen asleep within fifteen minutes of walking. He thought about all of this as he dug through his backpack and took out some bandages he had bought just in case such a thing happened. As he secured one around the boy's cut the rain began to dicipate slightly and the tent upzipped halfway. Yaholo turned his head back and smiled softly at the young man who poked his head in. "Ah, Ozzie." He said with a light smile on his face. "Good to see you still remember the way back here brother."
Ozzie rolled his eyes at Yaholo while he unzipped the tent all the way down and stepped in next to his younger brother. He wrapped his arm around him and gave a slight half hug bearing a wide grin. "Of course I know my way back home Yaho!" He exclaimed cheerfully. "Besides, I couldn't miss seeing my baby brother bring home my two new nephews! You hid this whole thing from us for months you sneaky weasel! Now where are the little guys? You didn't lose 'em already did 'ya?"
Yaholo shook his head and flicked his brother's nose after his last remark. He knew his brother would always want to be the first to see or do anything. He had always been that way through out their childhood on the reservation. He was the first to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow in their hunting group, the first to fish in a very rapid stream and even the first to wrestle a bear which ended in Ozzie having to run seven miles in the forest just to out run the bear and his huge group of laughing buddies who had dared him to do it. Life was always an andventure back then. Nothing was left undone, wrecked, or torn to pieces back then. Nothing what so ever, which is why they both stayed on the reservation to this very day. The never ending supply of fear induced fun was all they needed to stay. "Hey! Even I wouldn't be dumb enough to lose two kids! That would be you HiddenMouse!" Yaholo replied with a smirk, he enjoyed referencing to his brother's "Spirit name" it was just so funny. "Anyway, Mokuba's the smaller one that was out like a light the whole entire trip here. The elder one is Seto who somehow managed to walk his way here with only a few marks on him. But they were both quite happy to get out of Durem. Makes me wonder what they were both put through in this life...Poor kids. I was told they were ripped from one world and put into this one. Sounds horrible..." As he finished that sentence Mokuba's eyes blinked open and he sat up. His gaze went straight to Seto who was already clinging to him in a protective tight hug. Mokuba smiled and nuzzled Seto softly as a way of telling him that he was fine.
"Schee biiig bruudda..." He whispered to him. "Mokie telled 'ya we's stay'in togever...No be scared Seto. We's ohkay."
Seto's eyes were glued to his younger sibling like a hawk. He knew his brother was telling him everything was okay but for some reason he felt that it was the exact opposite. He was frightened and nervous about being here but he could and would never admit that to anyone openly. So he just sat there dirty, exhausted, and silent with a firm grip on Mokuba as if he thought if he let go of him for even a second he'd vanish into thin air and leave him alone forever.
Ozzie and Yaholo exchanged glances before setting their eyes on the little ones before them. One was clearly calm and more trusting than the other. Yaholo had known about how roughly they were brought into existance here on Gaia and then how quickly they were left to themselves until Yaholo showed up to take them in. It all seemed extremely messed up, especially for to young boys who could barely walk and grasp the English language. But there seemed to be much more too it than just that to the new guardian. They had an incredible bond that he had never seen between two brothers, even between him and Ozzie. He watched the pair carefully with curiosity while Mokuba dozed back off in his brother's arms. Seto looked like he desperatlely wanted to go to sleep but he kept his eyes pegged on Mokuba until he was sure he had fallen back into another dream. Then, only then did he plop down with a soft thump next to Mokuba and quickly rode into a deep well deserved rest. Although his grip was still quite tightly protective around Mokuba but it didn't seem to disturb the sleeping baby.
Yaholo and Ozzie were stunned by this act. Not even THEY did this as children. With one last glance at each other they smiled lightly as if it were the most adorable thing they had ever seen. Yaholo reached back into his bag to pull out a soft woven blanket and covered them with it. He looked at both of their sweet sleeping faces and deduced that they were both completely asleep and pleasantly dreaming. Ozzie motioned Yaholo outside of the tent with a smile.
"The rain's stopped," He began. "Let's start the fire for the others and let them sleep. They can meet everyone in the morning." He stepped outside of the tent and knelt to the ground to pick up sticks to start the fire.
Yaholo nodded firmly and followed Ozzie. As he plopped a stack of twigs on the pile for the fire he looked back at Seto and Mokuba with a bright smile. "I promise you both," He thought. "I will be the best guardian I can be. I may not know of all of your hardships and what you both have been through together but I swear form this day forward you both will no longer have to worry about where you will be sleeping or where your next meal is going to come from. I will be there to constantly support and guide you. I Yaholo, will make sure of your safety as Mother Earth has assured of mine. You are my sons and are family to us all now. You will never have to worry about being alone anymore."

SOLO: Deep thinking and memories during a storm...
It was one of those horrible stormy nights that most would describe as the worst in history. The wind blew like a tornado, rain pounded on the ground and thunder crashed almost every few seconds. Still, Yaholo and his group stayed in their tents as usual with a simple hope that the storm would pass. Much to the utter dismay of Seto.
Although it was almost one in the morning, the poor tot was wide awake and alert to every single sound around him. His face bore a forced calm just in case anyone around him woke up so he would appear unafraid. But even under that frozen frown he was quaking with fear at the noises coming from outside the tent. He wished the rain would stop so he could finally get some rest, like his brother was currently doing. His eyes glanced down to Mokuba who was sleeping like a rock which was no surprise to Seto. Kid could sleep through the end of the world if he was tired. It bothered him a lot that his younger brother wasn't frightened by the thunder but he was. Ugh. He was always such a worry wart wasn't he? That was one of the reasons he didn't really enjoy his life. Every single day was filled with stress, worries and fears for him, not like he'd admit it, but there seemed to always be something to worry about.
He worried constantly about Mokuba, which for him was normal, but it was also extremely tedious to need to know where one person was at all times in order to be calm and emotionally in order. Also, he couldn't seem to stop being nervous about how people thought of him. His hair had to be in order at all times, as his trenchcoat and duel disk, but he didn't even really like how he looked anyway. In fact, he thought he looked rather silly in this outfit. Why did he feel the need to wear it everyday when he knew he looked so...So...Dumb? He hated the trenchcoat in this weather too! He couldn't bear to be without it but it was too sweaty and hot when he wore it on a hike! So he hates what he wears but he wears it anyway to make himself look cool? That was a pretty stupid reason to wear something. He should want to wear what he wants and not have to be panicked about not knowing where his trenchcoat was. But, he still felt attached to it. Oh why did he have be so weird?!
That might be it. He's weird. He's strange. Maybe that's why he doesn't like being around people and talking to them. Yes, that's got to be the reason. He can't remember things either. That's really strange. He knows his name, he's Seto Kaiba. He knows that he was an important business man that had a ton of money. He liked playing a card game with monsters, magic cards and spell cards. He was one of the best players of the game too. He couldn't remember the full name of the guy who beat him and was the best though. Yugi...Yugi...Darn it. He still couldn't recall this guy's name. Although, everytime he thought of this guy he was angry...But not angry at him. No...He wasn't angry at HIM. But then who was he angry at? He knew that he didn't like the idea of being beaten by this Yugi person but then why wasn't he angry at him for beating him in the game? He was angry at someone! He was the best, then he got beaten, so shouldn't he be mad at the guy who beat him? ...No. There's something more to his past than that. It isn't just the card game that makes him angry.
He remembers a tall older man...A chess game. He beat this guy in chess and he took him and Mokuba home with him...But wait! He was older back then! T-This can't be...He's only a baby right now. Wait...Its clearing up. Man. He looked tired...But those mean business people. They keep forcing him to work harder! But don't they know he's really tired?! ...W-who's that guy...? He looks just like he is now! Only...He's a teenager! Is that what he was before he came here? He didn't look too happy. Why was he so angry? No, why IS he so angry? Who IS HE angry WITH? ...He's staring into a mirror...He's angry with himself. Because he lost to that Yugi guy. But it was just a stupid card game? That doesn't matter...Right? Not now it seems. Is it because he feels like a failure? That's it! He's angry at himself because he thinks he's a failure! ...But he's not a failure. He's protecting Mokuba as he promised and that's all that matters. But this older self feels that money and power are important! He couldn't have been that greedy! ...Oh, no. No. No no no. He would never put money and power infront of his brother. Mokuba is more important than any amount of money in the world! This Seto was a jerk! He must make sure he NEVER becomes this. NEVER.
But how could he change? This already happened! Well, it happened there. OH YEAH! It already happened THERE but now HE'S HERE! He's here and he can start again! He can become different! He doesn't have to be angry with himself over a stupid card game! He won't ever put money and power over his younger brother! He will change! He can change! Whoever this Yugi guy was or is, he's gone and done with! The new Seto Kaiba will be better, kinder and will try to help others! He will be better...He can be better...He won't give up...No...Never giiiive uuup...
Finally as the rain had stopped his tiny body flopped down on the tent floor. His eyes closed lightly as he fell into a peaceful sleep...A sort of sleep he hadn't had for a long while. One other thing was different as well...A soft smile was upon his face as if a huge load had been lifted off of his tiny shoulders.
