It was finally one of those days after a large rainfall that made the air so cool and refreshing. It wasn't sticky or hot anymore as it had been for the three days before it so Ozzie and Yaholo proposed that they take Seto and Mokuba on their very first nature hike. As Ozzie prepared the water cantines and the snack foods they were to bring along, Yaholo tried to get the boys into some cooler clothing he had bought for them the last time they were in town. Mokuba took to the lighter and airier cloth much easier than Seto who was still whining about not being able to wear his heavy duty trench coat and duel disk on the trip. He glared at Yaholo with piercing blue eyes and a firmly cemented scowl.
"Why can't I wear 'em?!" He complained. "It not hot! It cold!" Well, it actually wasn't cold out but he just didn't feel the same without those two items on his person. He felt strange without his duel disk the most. Although he had just remembered what that thing was called, he knew it had some huge importance to him as did the peculiar card deck that came along with it. He hadn't really sifted through the cards but he kept them close to him as he felt they were extremely valuable to him for a reason he couldn't remember and so far everything he valued greatly for an unknown reason had something to do with this really important "Yugi" guy he kept thinking about.
He had racked his brain trying to figure out who this guys was but it just wasn't coming to him. It was incredibly frustrating to him that he couldn't remember this guy if he was so important to him. Why couldn't he just remember him?! He was going into a maze of thoughts again just when Ozzie pronounced that they could start walking. He raised his head to see that Mokuba was a few feet too far ahead of him and jumped up from his seat on the ground and dashed straight to his younger brother. He took Mokuba's hand as they moved along the dirt pathway and proceded up a steep hill. Great, now he knew why he wasn't supposed to wear his trench coat. He would've tripped going up this huge hill if he'd worn it. A loud sigh escaped his mouth then. Oh how he dispised walking.

After days of being inside the house and having to watch Louie and Anya nearly give into cabin fever, an dark elf assassin was very happy to be in the outdoors. Ivy looked around, enjoying the scenery while listening to the laughter and breathing of her rag doll child. The assassin had been surprised at how Eve had reacted to the idea of a hike in the woods.
It was clear that the toddler had been tired of being inside though she had pestered Damin constantly. Still, Ivy was grateful for her daughter's willingness to wear shorts and a tank top with hiking booting.
Eve ran ahead of her mother, looking around in awe at her surroundings. The little girl was used to the park and even shopping, but she had never been hiking before. So the ragdoll was nearly dazed at the beauty of the woods. She stood in front of a tree, her hands itching to draw it. She pouted for a moment as her mother had promised to carry her sketch book and a pencil for her, but Eve couldn't draw until they were done with the hike.

"Come on you two!" Ozzie called back to Seto and Mokuba as he and Yaholo reached the top of the hill. The pair laughed as Mokuba darted the rest of the distance up the hill as he had spotted a butterfly to run after, leaving Seto; frowns and all, trudging slowly up after him.
Upon reaching the top Seto stopped for a breather, momentarily forgetting that Mokuba was running after a butterfly and could possibly trip and get hurt. But then he lifted his head and gazed around. Where was his little brother? A-and Yaholo and Ozzie? He blinked twice as his eyes darted this way and that for any sign of his brother, his new father or his new uncle. From what he saw there was no sight of them. But he had only stopped for a second! They couldn't have gone far! ...Or was this what they were planning? They were going to go up the hill and leave him here all alone while they took Mokuba back to camp! No...They couldn't! Yaholo promised he'd take care of both of them! B-but then where were they!? He stood there frozen in a mixture of extreme fear and confusion. He couldn't have just been abandoned again. No, not again. Still, he began to freak out in his own way. He started whining as he tried to force back tears that were forming in his eyes. His lip quivered as he fell backward onto his bottom and let out a screech. "MOKUBA! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Eve looked up from the tree as she heard someone yelling before looking back at her mother. The toddler wanted to see what was wrong and ran towards the sound, knowing her mother would follow.
Ivy followed her daughter at a walking pace, remaining silent as she listened for the sounds of a parents as she could tell the yelling was from another child.
Eve tripped on her way up the hill, but caught herself and continued on her way up. When she managed to get to the top, she looked what looked like a kid around her age, trying to hold back tears.
"Do you need help?" She asked softly as she walked closer to the boy.

Seto, surprised that were other people in the forest besides Yaholo, his brother, Ozzie and himself, squeaked loudly and jumped back onto his feet. "Wha-Who-Huh?!" Was all that escaped his mouth due to his complete and utter confusion. He seriously needed to stop being so emotional. It only made him look stupid.
Ozzie then appeared from around the corner and rushed over to the bewildered toddler. He couldn't help but let out a chuckle at his new nephew's way of handling being "lost" and placed a hand on the child's shoulder. "Hey, relax buddy..." He said calmly. "We just went around the corner and thought you were right behind us! Gotta move a little faster kid..."
That was when Seto glared at his uncle which made the elder male step back a bit and shiver. He rubbed his eyes free of tears and sniffled. Stupid uncle, they need to move slower. Its not his fault.
Yaholo, carrying Mokuba on his back, came running around the corner and paused with a sigh of relief as he saw Seto was alright. Then he spotted Eve standing not too far behind his son and smiled. "Oh, hello there..." He stated, catching another brief breath as he was winded from running back around a few corners after hearing Seto scream. "I didn't know anyone else knew of this hiking trail...Do you have a parent with you? You shouldn't be here on your own, even if it is daylight. There are bears here..." He emphasized on the "bears" part and gazed to Ozzie with a laugh.
Ozzie whipped his head around and rolled his eyes at his brother's words. "Hey! Just because I got dared to wrestle a bear and got chased by it for seven miles doesn't mean you have to make a comment like that, Yaholo!" He replied. "Besides! I was thirteen and wasn't thinking clearly!"
"Naaah, you were just trying to impress that pretty girl brother and you know it!" Yaholo retorted with a grin. Ozzie just rolled his eyes again.
Seto watched them as they talked and he too rolled his eyes. They were so strange. Always talking about their past here in the forest and how they grew up. He didn't care much for it. He just wanted to get this nature hike thing over with.

The ragdoll jumped back when she thought she had spooked the kid on accident. She stepped back and nearly tripped, but caught herself.
Eve looked at the man that walked over before looking in the direction of her mother. She liked the woods, but listened to what they were saying.
The little girl smiled lightly at the one that spoke to her. "My mommy found it a while back and thought it would be fun to take a hike." She nodded and pointed in the direction of her mother. "My mommy's just letting me explore a little ahead of her. I'm not alone and she'll come running if I scream."
Ivy heard her daughter talking to someone and about her as she picked up the word Mommy. The dark elf walked to where she heard her daughter's voice coming from.
The assassin raised an eyebrow at the two men chatting before walking over to her daughter. "I'm her parent and I'm Ivy." She picked up Eve, carefully to keep her sketch book away from her. "This child is Eve."

Yaholo and Ozzie both smiled as Ivy came into view. Silently Yaholo was thankful that Eve was infact with another adult, he wasn't kidding about the bears in the least. Both men gave a gentleman's sort of bow to Ivy before Ozzie spoke.
"Pleasure to meet you miss Ivy," He greeted, gazing to Eve shortly after. "The same to you miss Eve. My name is Oswol, or Ozzie if you prefer." He paused, motioning to Yaholo. "This is my brother, Yaholo. We live down the hill and around a few turns on a campground with a few of our friends. We're sort of tied to nature I suppose, we've never been able to leave our forest home and assimilate into modern culture. Although, some have left, but they usually have left young and with their parents. But we enjoy the simple things in life and that's how we've lived for many years..."
As Ozzie talked Yaholo smiled and set Mokuba down next to Seto. He nodded along with his brother's words until it was his turn to speak. "As he said, it is a pleasure to meet you both as we have never really seen people other than those on our campground walking these paths. It is certainly a pleasant thing to see that there are still others that enjoy nature even if they don't live in it all the time..." He glanced to Seto and Mokuba and grinned. "These young boys are my sons, Seto and Mokuba. Say hello boys."
"Hi! I's Mow-kuu-bah!" Mokuba chirped happily. He loved meeting new people. He hoped that one day he'd have a lot of friends.
Seto stayed silent, he wasn't really into greetings. Instead he stared down at his feet as he usually did and shoved his hands into the pockets of his pants. This was going to be a long hike, if they ever started walking again.

Ivy only feared few beasts in her life and bears weren't one of them.
She bowed slightly to them as well as part of a greeting she was raised with.
The dark elf smiled lightly, "Likewise, Oswol and Yaholo. I live in Barton though I've never met any of your family before. I have heard of the campground."
Eve walked over to Seto and Mokuba, offering a hand to the boys. "Nice to meet you two." She was trying not to be shy about meeting others.
She noticed Seto hadn't said anything and wondered why he was so shy at the moment. She smiled still, trying to seem friendly to the stand offish boy.
