Ok, so their are two local covens that I have been going to for about a year now in my area.
I wanted to join one coven but recently the high priestess of that coven has been having health problems and problems finding a place to stay and has not had an official ritual in awhile.
In the mean time the other coven that I was at first judgmental toward for not being as structured or as strict as the first one and their for didn't want to join it. Has struck a cord in my heart it might be not as organized but its family and community oriented. They seem to really care about me and want me to join.
So hear is the thing should I hold out for the harder path the stricter coven that I originally wanted to join to get its self together that might be more rewarding in the long run. Or should I go for the coven that seems more personal and open minded.
I know that only I can make this choice but any help would be appreciated. Like what would you do in this situation and why?

Have you ever worked with divination? If so try using it here. also I would pray for the priestesses swift recovery and try meditating on it try to see yourself in either coven a year or two from now

If you think it's going to be a long time before the other group is ready (like more than a year), you could always work with the group that is ready now, and if/when the other one gets it's stuff together, you can always look into joining them at that time.

Thanks for the advice!

I worry if the other coven that is having problems would still accept me to join their coven later if I still want to if I'm already a member of the first coven.

Maybe you should try to contact the HPS and talk to her first, and find out if it would be an issue.

Either way you have to remember that being in a group setting has its problems, and you have to think about which group of people you think you're willing to work those problems out with. Who would you care enough about to stick next to when relationships go under fire?
