Does anyone in here have a loved one in the armed forces? My brother is joining up soon. He's joining the army ROTC corps and of course he's going for a scholarship, which means he has to serve active duty afterwords. He's been having trouble with the PT test, but his instructors want him so they signed a waiver. He now has another month to complete the test and show a lot of improvement. But they gave him the gear and everything. Since he didn't do the first two years of ROTC in college they're going to send him to a month long summer training camp in june. He has the fatigues, the combat boots, the exercise clothes,the sweatshirts, the bags, everything!

My dad is retired Navy and my grandpa was in the Air Force. No one in my family has been in Army that I know of.

Both my grandpa's were in the army. On opposite sides, which is weird.
Never knew either of them...
I hope all goes well for your brother!
It's a job someone has to do and that he has accepted the responsibility and sacrifice that it entails says a lot about him.

Let's see well I'll be a freshman in high school next year. So yeah that's my job, unless I get to work at the concession stands this year at the ball diamonds during the summer, then I guess that can count as my job. At least for a while.
I have a cat and a dog. I've always wanted a chinchilla though. My mom won't let me have anything in cage unfortunately. My dog is super nice even if he barks at everything and bit one of my friends. As long as she lived it shouldn't matter

My cat is anti social. She an outside cat so whenever we go outside she stays at least seven feet away. I'm the only one who she will come up to. I think it's cause she knows I'm the one who feeds her.
My favorite colors are dark red, black, and soft green.
I love so many animes but my favorites are Ouran, Pandora Hearts, Death Note(I still need to finish watching it. I stopped after a certain someone died.), and Lovely Complex.
Next year I have to take Spanish, but once I get to my junior year I plan to take Japanese on Rosetta Stone. I also want to learn German. smile
Other random facts.
I get hit in the head with basketballs, soccerballs, softballs, etc.
I play the clarinet and trumpet.
I love drawing and writing. Oh and reading. Though buying books is a pain. I spend 20 bucks on one and finish it in a day.

lets see current job??? welll I'm a student in HS and i will be a junior (2010-2011)
Ahh pets??
Well heres the list: 2 birds, some fish, 3 cats, and 5 dogs. all of them various ages of course.
colors....
My stable favorite color is Purple, but this weeks happens to be black.
I really do love anime and manga. first manga i started was.... Inverloch, its not really Japanese so i guess....nope its still a manga, but its kinda off the wall.
I like TV..... I particularly like DVR-ing stuff.
I want to learn more Spanish than i know, and Russian. ^_^ I like Russia.
1.I like music. I really really like music. I like it enough that I am thinking of going into music in my college career, but i dont know what to do with it. ^_^ I play the Clarinet, and the Tenor
2. I get bored. When I get bored, things get destroyed, or random stuff gets made. I once made a 2 story house out of cardboard. WITH furniture. like a computer and stove and microwave... I'm thinking of making a bigger version, only I do not know if we have enough cardboard. Sadness.....
3. I like to write. I write whatever pops into my head.

well, this seems to be the best place to introduce myself.
Hello, my name is Meefu. I was invited to join this guild and after much consideration, accepted the request. I haven't read that many of Pierce's books- but I loved the ones I have. The Lioness Quartet was brilliant. I loved the political intruge in Trickster's Choice, and Daine seemed so brave to me when I was a little girl. These books introduced me to epic fantasy and will always hold a special place in my heart.
About me? I love Sherlock Holmes, cookies, reading, writing, sleeping, gaming, baking, and playing with makeup. Yeah, I play with it. I work in a daycare on Sundays although I insist I will never have kids of my own.
I'm a bit of an introvert and prefer to remain single, significantly. Thanks for the invite! heart

But when I say playing with makup, i mean penciling eye-liner mustaches on my sisters who crashed on the coutch, and by baking I mean making Cinnimon Toast. As for a job, I regret to say that I have none, spend my days at the computer, and live in my mother's basment. But it's O.K., because I just graduated middle school biggrin As for pets I no longer have any, as my dog passed away not too long ago. My favorite color changes acording too mood, or whatever color I just saw. Right now it's powder blue. I enjoy manga and anima, but I have very little experiance with them. I can barly say what my name is in French, but I know enough to ask for a sandwich, which is enough for me. And here are a few facts. 1) I like pie. 2) I do belive in the exsistance of the super natural. 3) I really do like pie.

I have three dogs and a cat (although the cat isn't mine)
My favorite color is Blue.
My favorite anime is bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
The foreign language I just have to learn is Japanese.
I like to make origami flowers.
Thats me in a nutshell.
