The Akatsuki meeting room is an incredibly large and rather ornate room. From side to side, the cavern hall is about 300 ft long and 200 ft wide, with 50 ft tall ceilings. The walls are decorated with various pieces of art, ranging from still-lives, to paintings of epic wars and large tapestries hanging on the sides of the enormous cave walls. On one side, 10 Akatsuki uniforms, cloaks and hats hang on racks, each with a corresponding ring kanji.

In the middle of the room, there is a large, elongated polished marble table. Around the table, there are ten, rather large stone marble chairs with wide seats and 10 ft tall backs. Each chair has a storage area beneath them and slots and places for scrolls and other various equipment on the sides. On the backs of each one, is a kanji symbol corresponding to each of the rings of the Akatsuki, signifying their seat at the table.

On the far end of the room, there is a large open space which is surprisingly bare compared with the rest of the room. The only feature on that side is the entrance to the corridor which leads to the training room. With the proper hand seals and summoning however, the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path rises up from the ground within the open space, allowing the Akatsuki members to extract and seal the bijuu using the Fūinjutsu: Genryū Kyū Fūjin no Jutsu (Sealing Technique: Illusionary Dragon Nine Consuming Seal technique)

Illusionary Dragon Nine Consuming Seals

The Genryū Kyū Fūjin (Illusionary Dragon Nine Consuming Seals) is the technique utilized by the Akatsuki to forcibly drain the spirit and chakra of the tailed beasts from their still-living jinchūriki, then to seal it into the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. The jutsu takes three full days to complete if all of the Akatsuki members are present, but can be performed with fewer members, though it does take longer (an extra 3 posts per missing member).

To seal a bijuu, the Akatsuki leader summons the sealing statue, after which each member stands on one of its fingertips, corresponding to their specific ring finger. Each of the Akatsuki members then concentrates, causing the kanji of their rings to appear on the nail of the finger they are standing on. Nine dragon-like effigies then pour from the statue's mouth, surrounding the captured host, and removes the tailed beast from them (which is VERY painful to the host). After the process is complete, the beast is sealed within the statue, and the appropriate eye of the statue's nine eyes opens. The host normally dies due to the removal of their tailed beast. The Nine-Tailed Demon Fox must be sealed last, or the statue will shatter.
