General sat in his ship. He was floating away from the guild. The big man sighed.

A ball of red energy appeared between his palms.

"Oh Lysenko. If only you could have been my friend. You could have helped me complete my life's work."

And then, he remembered the days when he was young and ambitious. The days before being tricked into slavery.

He was in his office/workshop. It was late at night. He was sitting in front of a desk, staring down blueprints, memorizing them. He'd been doing this for the past few nights.

His son Jhonny woke up, he was having trouble sleeping. He was at least five years old. He entered his father's office.

"Dad? What are you doing?"

Kcuf looked over at Jhonny.

"Come here son. Take a look at this."

He showed his son the very confusing blueprints.

"These have been passed down through our family for five generations. Grandpa McSlap couldn't figure it out, and neither could anyone else. It was only your great, great, great,"

Jhonny interrupted.

"The magnificient Gordon McSlap?"

Kcuf laughed.

"Yeah, that was him, he's the one who thought this up. He had it all figured out, but before he could start working on it, he died due to the virus that plagued Tenalp during that time. That's the thing with this idea of his, it takes years upon YEARS to finish!"

And then Jhonny yawned.

"Okay dad, you win, I'm off to bed."

Kcuf laughed.

"Alright Jhonny. Get some rest."

He gave his son a hug and then continued memorizing the blueprints.

"History lessons. Always puts those kids back to sleep."

Kcuf had studied those blueprints for quite a few years before his departure.

The night before he left his home planet, he stood in front of his house's fireplace, smoking a pipe. He tossed all of the blueprints into the fire.

This made him the only person in the universe who knew how to put together the device. Once he escaped slavery, grew his army, and started pillaging planets for money and resources, he worked on the device every chance he got.

Back to present day.

The ball of energy materialized. It was a unique sphere, with strange markings. It was bronze. He held it, and he caressed it as if it were family.

"My life's work... still incomplete."

He let out a deep sigh.

"And still my only chance of returning to them."

A single teardrop fell from his eye.

He wanted to join the guild so that he could find connections, perhaps someone who could help him complete it. Right now though, what was he to do? He could feel it in his stomach, things were about to get pretty bad on this planet.

Throughout most of his life, he was the one who brought terror upon planets. He hated it.

The sphere dematerialized and vanished. It could wait. Right now, he was picking up some activity on his ship's radar.

He immediately headed in that direction. When he first arrived on the scene, he saw Hawk battling the dinosaurs.

"How many robots are on this damned planet?"

He shook his head. It appeared as though Hawk's powers were derived from darkness. Perhaps he could help.

His ship moved so that it blocked the sun from shining on Hawk.

Lysenko was at first taken back that someone had found his secret laboratory. No one, since its very creation, had discovered his main lab. Sure a store house or minor lab here or there had been found, but all had been destroyed before anything useful could be taken from them. This...was something entirely different.
However, he quickly regained composer when the man began talking. Clearly this person was insane...which ment they shared common ground.
When the dark elf threw newspaper clippings on the ground Lysenko was tempted to sick his new pet on the man, and Jack seemed to have the same idea, because he made a subtle movement, one meaning he was ready to pounce and kill. Forunately, Lysenko put out his hand, a signal for Jack to stay. He wanted to hear this man's proposition.
"Yes, these heroes have been much of a...nuisance" Lysenko said the last word with utter disgust.
"What exactly is it you are proposing Mr...?"

WARNING: ENERGY SHIELD DEPLETED

General did not panic. He saw that one of the robots was taken down. Not wanting to spend a great deal of time on the current enemies, the pupil of his ship fired two beams which took five seconds each to charge.
They both fired at the robots, in an attempt to overheat them both and make them stop functioning. He then contacted hawk via the guild communicator.

"Robots like that usually in large groups. I have a bad feeling about this."

General said, as the shields on his ship began recharging.

Lysenko stroked his chin in thought.
"So...what you are proposing is complete genocide of all heroes?"
Lysenko was silent for some time before he finally burst into laughter.
"Why, if you could manage to do what I have never done, if you truly could gain access to their guild and its records, then I do believe with the upmost certainty that myself, you, and my little pet here could definately eliminate them. And imagine the glorious chaos that would ensue! Its beautiful to even think of!"
Jack's grin widened. He was looking forward to being let out to play.
