Reve Casse ll Intoxicated Cupcake ll Wes Michaels And look what has happened since we've given Gaia our money: *Servers go down, sometimes for hours or a day *Database errors affect the site, sometimes for an entire day *Events are scaled back or not even held anymore for certain days *Gold shop updates come with like, one or two items and various recolors of it *Site layout has been changed to the anger of the users But the cash shop never has a problem! And that new RIG that comes out every month always gets an announcement. As far as the inflation goes, I don't even buy anything from the market anymore. Its just ridiculous. I pretty much get EVERYTHING from the marketplace. I don't get why gaia can't just put EVERY SINGLE ITEM in the stores so we don't get ripped off by the greedy people in marketplace who wants to sell items for 10 times more than what they're worth. They need to just do my idea and get rid of marketplace all together. Gaians will definetly save much, much more money. I for on am sick of the people who want to skyrocket prices.
Selling things on the MP for a lower price than others is a good idea, but you would need to have many of us doing that in order to drive the prices down. Sadly, greed does prevail in the hearts of many.
As to things being over priced, much of this is Gaia's own doing. They have their own ''gold sink'' shop. Nothing for the aquariums can be purchased with only gold. It has to be bought by someone with real money first before it even hits the market. Even your MC's, EI's, etc, cannot be bought without them being originally purchased by someone with cash. Till Gaia stops looking for the almighty buck, this will not stop.
My suggestion to all of you ...... STOP BUYING GAIA CASH. It could take a few months, but it will drive the message home to their Accounting Department. *shakes head sadly* Now if only we could get people to do this and stick to it for a while. That is the way to curb inflation. You're definetly right.

@Reve: There was a time when players from NTreev stopped buying points for their games, but that never helped. =.=;; So, even if we did stop buying Gaia cash, it may not help. They'd shut down the servers after a while. Gaia's servers cost millions of dollars a year to keep running. So, you get the picture.

Ranusha @Reve: There was a time when players from NTreev stopped buying points for their games, but that never helped. =.=;; So, even if we did stop buying Gaia cash, it may not help. They'd shut down the servers after a while. Gaia's servers cost millions of dollars a year to keep running. So, you get the picture. And if we stopped buying chas cards do you think they'd start charging us for playing on gaia?

The numbers have to be great enough to undermine those that buy low and sell ridiculously high by always having stuff for sale that is low. It keeps the prices from rising in the first place. Also, others will be forced to sell their items for less in order to compete and make sales. It is a snowball effect. mrgreen Not buying Gaia cash indefinately would backfire; but what about a kind of strike, not buying any until there is a good selection of cash items for sale that are much more affordable. This includes basic nonbg fish for aquariums. I have noticed that things that are initially lower priced in the cash shop do sell for less in the market place as well.

I totally agree. When I first heard of the mp I thought it was like a yard or garage sale (sorry nothing else comes to mind.) But some of the prices are UNBELIEVABLE. When you sell something in a yard sale you sell it for LESS than what you bought it for.
I don't agree with shuting down mp. I actually don't buy with real money, at least not yet, so the mp is the only chance I have of getting EI or anything like that. As a side note though they should allow us to be able to buy a few of the simpiler fish with gold.
And not buying Gaia cash would diffinatly backfire. We keep on saying that Gaia is taking to much of our money, but we need to realize that they do need some money or else there won't be a Gaia.

some are saying this is a hox to get more people to buy.(sparcles) its only to ward of hackers and locate your high items easyer. we dont get nothing it does nothing special with the items it is on. found on gaia blog. gaia blog
