Locks and Bagels
3. Sorceress Adel FFVIII- In FFVIII I coasted all the way through the game easily til I ran into Sorceress Adel. With her sucking the life out of Rinoa and me not able to use my toughest AoE attacks to beat her made the fight really challenging. Of course through the first part of the game I was letting the computer auto assign the spells I drew cause I didn't really care about learning how to properly assign drawn spells into stats. Once I decided to learn how to properly utilize them and re-organized all my spells into different abilities Adel became easy to beat. But I've lost to her so many times before I got to that point. Guessing it took you as long as it took me to realize Regen + Shell on Rinoa made things a lot easier, plus Meltdown on Adel, and then from there just blasting away with Irvine's Hyper Shot, spamming Zell's Punch Rush/Booya repeatedly, and then of course Squall's Renzokuken/Lion Heart for game.. 22 tries to figure that out is too much, I was of course a we-todd back then and kept summoning Doomtrain until I finally realized that wasn't such a good idea
sweatdrop I've yet to find any Boss hard, but I have found a few of them to be very, very annoying..
1. XATM-092 (FF VIII): This guy was annoying for the simple fact you had to KO him and run like bejeezus.. Several times.. And I found out the hard way if you do too much Damage to him, he'll clunk for 2 seconds and then get right back up immediately.. Made it a bit too sadistically fun to watch it get shot to swiss cheese during the escape cutscene XD
2. Omega (FF V Advance): He wasn't hard, just extremely annoying.. Took me a while to get a good pattern down to beat him, he was actually harder than Shinryu.. Reflect on itself throughout the fight, had a lot of full-Party attacks that were annoying, had Memory Out which ejected a Party Member, and if you Rapid Fire it and it survives, it can do a consecutive 3-4 Rocket Punches, Memory Out, and other attacks in rapid succession and just annoying spam..
3. Neo-Shinryu (FF V Advance): Annoying for the simple fact it had the "invisible targets" taking most of the Rapid Fire attacks for it.. It makes me want to backhand whoever the genius was that decided that was a good idea.. At least the hours upon hours of just mugging Crystal Dragons for Dragon Lances paid-off in the long run..
4. Gerogero (FF VIII): He hits my entire Team with Blind, and Zombie, and a whole host of other annoyances, gives crappy Draw Spells, and is an utterly worthless Boss because one Phoenix Down and he goes poof.. *grabs megaphone* DESTROY BUILD DESTROY!! .......Yeah..
And that's just a few.. Of course the Goddess in FF VI also, but that's for later XD
