Cammie dipped forward to touch the surface of the dazzling pool. Her blue locks of hair swirled around her shoulders as she watched her reflection stare back out at her. A slim finger reached forward towards the pond's glassy surface, but it hesitated. Glancing up at the violent cries and rustling of leaves that had disturbed her playing, Chamealia frowned. She hated distractions. But her hate quickly turned to concern when she caught a glimpse of several faeries and a Hunter. The shame! She thought to herself with a huff. I was really enjoying- Her thoughts were cut off as she rushed forward, pulling out a small golden dirk, a slim, shining piece of metal longer than a dagger, but shorter than a short sword, to defend herself. Who knew if this Hunter would try to kill her? Her usual smile turned upside down as she took in the situation. One faerie held a red titainium blade, and there was a younger faerie there. Cammie could tell by the slight hesitancy in her movements. But the water fae caught her attention as she whipped around to face the attacker. Torn between watching the skrimish and joining in, Cammie hesitated, her gold flecked azure eyes darting from human to faerie. Oh, bother... What should I do?

Cammie stepped forward as the water fae took a swipe at the human. She decided that distracting the human was in the best interest of the faeries, but bad for the human. Either way, if she joined the battle, she would be a distraction to each side. So... Win win, isn't it? But, again, she hesitated. Her love for humans could get several faeries killed, but her affection towards faeries could destroy the human. Ah, well. The human seems to be able to take care of himself! Chamealia edged into the fray, cautiously dodging the water fae's lunge at the human as she approached. Seeing the hatred that simmered in the water faerie's eyes, Cammie backed off a little. A tiny spark ran down her fingers to her dirk, dancing across the golden metal. She held her dirk up for defence, but stayed to the side. Cammie grinned. Humans are so funny! She thought to herself as she watched the human move to one side.

~~Christina Spellsa~~

Christy

Christy listened to the water Fae and got ready for an attack. She pulled out the small dagger that was her mother's. She looked at it as it glinted a purple color in the moonlight. She wasn't paying attention when a faerie Hunter jumped out of no where and started to attack them.

Christy used her dagger to protect herself. She tuned into the water fae's mind and heard the name of her attacker, Seth. Christy's eyes became bloodshot and her eyesight waas tinted red with bloodlust. She took the dagger and charged at Seth.

Seth was distracted by Selphy's rage over her sister, so Christy was able to cut him a few times. Once on the fleshy part of the forearm and the other on his leg right under his knee. Blood gushed from his wounds and he had a bit of a limp. Nothing that would kill him, but have him be in pain for awhile.

That was satisfying enough... for now. Eventually Christy would want Seth dead. Also, she had a feeling her new found friend would want the same too.

Then, Christy saw something out of the corner of her eye. It looked like a person. She read their thoughts, a Faerie Hunter, Christy thought to herself. She teleported over to where she saw it flash. "Going somewhere?" Christy asked, dagger in hand and using her mind to lift the Hunter off the ground.

Seth barely managed to dodge the ice dagger, a tiny sliver of frost biting into his cheek and making him bleed. He staggered back an inch or two, surprised at Selphy's power. Powerful, but reckless, he noted. Then again, I did kill her sister. Seth immediately regretted his hesitation, as he was slashed by another faerie on his leg and forearm. Christina Spellsa, he confirmed, recalling the face from his book of Daylighters. He rallied the information off in his mind. 'Also known as Christy. Spirit Fae, Daylighter. Age 659. Mother was killed in a massacre led by Seth Dragomir.' No wonder she's so mad at me. But at least she's giving me an excuse to fight back.

Seth dodged another blow, slowed only a little by his limp. He'd been trained not to feel pain right away, but he'd have one hell of a time getting home tonight. Seth looked around, catalouging his opponents. 'Alexandra Mimieux, also known as Alexa. Age 963. Crestfaller, Spirit Fae. Part Nereid. Used to be a Nightwalker.' 'Sapphrina Mizu, also known as Selphy. Age 1000. Crestfaller, Water Fae. Half-vampire. #275 on list of Most Wanted Fae.' And there's another faerie off in the distance. 'Chamealia Lykae, also known as Cammie. Age 1050. Daylighter, Static Fae. Enjoys toying with humans.' Seth dodged a few more blows and lashed out with his steel sword. I doubt Cammie is much of a threat, but that still leaves three angry faeries. Oops, two angry faeries, he added when Christy flew off to strangle another Hunter who had stumbled out of HQ. Seth dashed over to defend his comrade, detering Christy with his steel. And now we're back to three. Seth was only a little worried. Sure, he was up against three enemies, two of whom wanted him dead more than anything else. But he was a trained assassin. And imagine the reward of defeating three faeries on his own! He grinned smugly and swung out with his sword some more.

My head hurts like hell, Selphy thought bitterly as she fought with Seth. The steel was taking its toll on her defenses, and she could tell Seth knew it. God, she hated him. He was able to counter her every move, and she was getting weaker all the while. She needed an opening. Suddenly, as if answering her prayer, Seth bounded off to defend a fellow Hunter. Selphy started building up power, feeling the winter's chill overcome her. Her skin began to glitter in the moonlight, like reflecting shards of ice. Seth was getting too cocky. He thought he was going to win, like every Hunter out there. It was their only flaw. As Seth swung out with his sword, Selphy backflipped over his head and landed right behind him. She grabbed him and held her katana at his neck. If he moved at all, he would slit his own throat. Selphy bent her head down and whispered in his ear, her fangs just brushing his skin. "An eye for an eye," she said menacingly. "A life for a life."

Seth was horrified. Dammit, he chastised himself. He had become overconfident, too intoxicated with thoughts of fame. He looked at Selphy without moving his head, absorbing her every feature. Oddly enough, he had a strange sense of attraction. Her eyes were large and pretty, yet full of determination. She had the build of a warrior, and her dedication was respectable. Seth had never gotten to really see a Faerie up close. He just killed them. But Selphy, she was... Stop it, he told himself. It's a vampire trick. It must be. I can't be attracted to some faerie scum. Yet, he couldn't stop staring at her with disbelieving eyes. He would not appeal to a faerie for mercy. He simply wouldn't. He'd rather die.

Dante felt himself be lifted off the ground and grabbed onto a branch to steady himself. Daylighter. Flashed though his mind and he struggled to get loose. "Oh come on! Does it look like I'm about to attack you?" He asked, exasperated. "I don't attack Daylighters, thank you very much." He rolled his eyes.

Alex backflipped as the water fae pounced at the Hunter, Seth. She watched as she handled the fight pretty well, so she stepped back. The other spirit fae and the water fae obviously had some grudge against this hunter. And even though she knew she was strong enough to stay near the steel sword, she'd let them handle this on their own.

Cammie watched the one spirit fae teleport to another Hunter with interest. She averted her eyes to observe the battle unfolding quickly before her eyes. The fae with the red titanium blade seemed to edge out of the skrimish, and the water fae had pinned down the first Hunter and had him in a sticky situation where if he moved, he would kill himself. Cammie sheathed her dirk when the initial threat had been nuetralized. She cocked her head in a curious fashion, but went back to the pool of glassy water to play by. Yet, before she started, something pulled her back to the battle. Curiosity yanked her back to the encounter, and she waited for the water fae's decision. The Hunter sat beneath the blade with a subtle look of annoyance etched in his features. Cammie started to rock back on her heels and to her toes, back and forth, back and forth. Her excitement almost crackled with energy, but she kept the electricity in check as she watched intently.

((Before I do anything, I'm waiting for clm640 to post. She's grounded right now. I want to see what her character does before I make my move.))

Dante's eyes glowed as he pulled out his steel blade. "I'm sorry..." He muttered. He didn't like to use this thing. But this was a time of true need. He had to get over to that other hunter before he got himself killed.

Alex turned to watch the other Hunter curiously. He had pulled out a steel blade, but didn't use it. He didn't want to hurt them, she realized. He looked...Familiar...Somehow. And his aura didn't seem all that human either.

Christy

Christy saw the hunter pull out his blade. "Hold on, I'll set you down. I won't hurt you if you don't attack me or Selphy." Christy slowly lowered him off the ground. She hovered his feet over the ground about an inch toying with him and waiting for a promise. "Well? You going to promise or not?"

Christy stole a glance at Selphy and saw she may be in trouble. She set the hunter on the ground and ran to help. Behind her shoulder she yelled at him, "You got off easy this time."

Christy approached from behind, readying herself with her mother's daggar. She got into her attacking stance and got ready for a fight, again. She felt the air getting harder and beads of sweat forming on her forehead. "Your going down!" she yelled at him charging.

Dante dashed after her, sheathing his blade. "Don't hurt him!" He yelled and used a long dagger, made out of titanium, to block the Spirit Fae's attack. "I won't attack you, but I won't let you attack my comrade either." He grit his teeth. "Fair fight, isn't it?"

Alex watched on, even more curious that the first time. This guy...Didn't feel like a human, yet he could hold a steel blade so easily. How in the world...?

Christy

Christy chuckled, not letting the hunter know how much his blade weakened her. It glinted beautifully in the moonlight, even though it is so dangerous to Faes. Looks can be deceiving, she thought to herself.

"I guess it is." she replied, "How about we make a deal. I won't fight Seth as long as he doesn't hurt her. You don't fight Selphy unless she hurts Seth. Good enough?"

Christy could feel her power draining. It took all she had to not lie down on the ground and sleep. Christy put her daggar away, hoping it would cause this hunter to do the same. She just wanted a good minute without the titanium blade and she would be fine again.

Dante nodded, sheathing his dagger. "Good enough." He agreed and helped the other up.

Alex kept watching him, eyes narrowed slightly out of distrust and discomfort. The guy wasn't human....But how....? She sighed, frustrated by the fact that she couldn't read the guy at all.

Christy walked back behind Selphy. She watched as they danced around in circles, waiting for the other make a move. Christy wondered what the name of the dance would be if it had one.

The Faerie Flamenco? The Hunter Mambo? Christy laughed at these thoughts, but then she stopped. It had seemed like ages since she had laughed. She shed another tear and wiped it from her face. She hoped no one had noticed.

Alex kept her glare on the Hunter. Her wouldn't look away until she found out what he was. And she had a feeling that it wasn't going to be anytime soon.

Dante returned the pink-haired fae's stare. What was up with her? She was glaring at him like she had never seen a Hunter before. He bristled indignantly and his eyes narrowed. She was a Crestfaller, a Spirit Fae.
