It had been the ping the shot the sound of enthused voices that had caught his attention at first. His skin already flickering red as he figured that the gunshot sound meant someone was in danger, but upon closer inspection he found himself immersed in a very loud enviroment called a arcade. There were a lot of kids there. All of them shouting each other on, egging the challanger and demanding more quarters from their pals. Blinking he watched as most of the kids played the games and were too absorbed to notice him until he got in their way. After a few angry shouts of him to get out of their view he stood back and watched curiosly. He took int he information quickly absorbing it. Video games. Simulated sitautions used for enjoyment. In short this activity is impractical. Gera ignored the voice, his skin flickered red and bright blue as he tried to catch what everyone was doing.
Kay was out doing Kay-like things...which pretty much meant he was doing whatever the hell he wanted. He had started off with a good old heaping of pester-the-brother, but after Quint got legitimately pissed at him, Kay left the house laughing. Well, he did laugh, but after he recovered from the impact of a sippy cup that was thrown at the back of his head. Quint was awesome at babysitting. After he hung around the park, chattering at some pretty young Mothers and playing with a few of the toddlers in the area (which may or may not have helped his chances with said pretty young mothers). Now, he was just wandering around, unsure of what to do with himself; he might visit Evari...or Faris...or Victoria...or hell, even Anon. That thought was cut off though, when he saw a familiar golem with flickering colours; the red worried him, and for good reason. Wandering right over, Kay clapped a big hand down on Gera's metallic shoulder. "Hey buddy, y'okay?"
Gera didn't flinch at the impact of the strangers hand on his shoulder, the voice however did register quite quickly. Turning his head he looked to Kay, his expression not blank but vauge surprise filtering through those strange eyes of his. "They play games here." He stated before he raised a hand to gesture at the machines. "They play and kill. I don't understand. Is..killing fun?" He inquired looking back to Kay as if thinking that Kay must know as he was bigger. That registered dimly. He pointed to the small patch of hair on Kay's chin. "Your growing hair. That wasn't there before."
Kay's brow lifted a bit when he saw the surprise in Gera's expression. Hell, any expression on Gera baffled him. It didn't belong...but it was nice. His red eye followed the pointing to the arcade machines, and his question made his heart skip a beat. "Uhh..." Kay started; was killing fun? He didn't know...oh wait, in the GAMES? "Well...it's not really killing anything. It's like...pretend killing. Games are fun though, as long as you realize it's not real." The teen scratched at his chin, as the little patch of hair he purposely kept. Looking baffled again, Kay started laughing, patting Gera's shoulder. "Yeah well, you're growing metal. Nice ear, buddy." He chuckled out, poking at the strange extension at the side of Gera's head. "Sooo...have you ever played an arcade game?"
Gera looked back to the games and then his gaze returned to Kay. It wasn't real. That's right it was a simulation. "Pretend killing..." He repeated as he then nodded his head slowly as it to make sure he didn't hit Kay with his ear attenna thing, he didn't join Kay in laughing. Laughing still seemed to foriegn to him. He did offer a very small smile though. "No. Never played." He stated as he looked to all the crowded machines. A few would result in him crushing it. he was a bit worried about breaking them...or absorbing them.

A friendly Gera? - Part 1
Ryuu was small, very small. He was about a foot long when he stretched out to his fullest and he weighed absolutely nothing which was why it made things that were simple for other people difficult for him. It had taken him a sizable about of time, determination, and many attempts to finally get the refrigerator open to see what was inside that was premade since Mrrh wasn't around to cook for him. As he opened it up he seemed to be starring in delight and awe, as though he had found the most wonderful of all treasures in the entire world!
"Cupcakes!" He squealed, floating into the fridge to land on the shelf where the plate with the two colorful treats sat. His tail was wagging wildly behind him and he started to race in circles around the plate before sitting down to try to pick which he wanted. One was a pretty blue with stripes while the other was pink with lots of sprinkles, "Which... which..." Which did he want? Both looked so good... his mouth opened, tongue lolled out, and he was starring at the cupcakes in an excited way as he tried to pick which of them was the one he wanted most.
Gera had been walking past noticing that the fridge door was open and didn't realize that a small dragon was jumping around a plate of cupcakes in the fridge and with a small gesture shut the partially opened door firmly closed. There now there was little risk in the cupcakes getting ruined due to negligence.
Ryuu gave pause in the circles he was running around the plate when the door to the fridge closed and he found himself starring at the door before he shuffled forward, lifting his little hands and started to push against it, "Hey! Hey! Doooor! Let me out!" He told it, his eyes a bit wide, pushing and shoving against it, getting a bit on the nervous side. Surely the fridge wasn't planning on eating him because he was going to take one of the cupcakes?!
Gera hadn't done it on purpose, he didn't know that Ryuusei was inside of it. Of course he paused when he thought he heard something coming from behind him. Of course there wasn't anything there. His face went blank, void as he scanned the room. There were still some habits that were hard to break. He targeted the fridge. The sound came from there. Moving back over he stood in front of the fridge a moment a blade coming out of his arm as if to make sure whatever was in there wouldn't attack him he reached for the handle and then pulled the door open.
Ryuu gave a squealing sound of fear when Gera pulled open the door with a knife drawn on him and he went rushing back into the fridge to hide behind some of the food that was inside, peeking out from behind a jar of jelly with wide eyes, shocked. What in the... why was this metal guy trying to kill him?! He was in league with the fridge wasn't he? He whimpered and ducked back behind the jar in hopes of not being seen... though of course as was usual with little kids he was going by the assumption that if he couldn't see Gera that Gera couldn't see him... completely untrue given his lower half was sticking out.
Gera paused to look in the fridge only to see the small dragon hiding behind some of the food stuffs. His blade slipped back into his arm and he wondered what the dragon was doing in the fridge.
"Silver? Why in fridge?" he asked perhaps speaking for the first time to the small dragon.
The little dragon peeked out from behind the jelly once more and seeing the knife was gone he relaxed slightly, "I... ahh... cupcakes." He said, coming out from behind the jelly slowly, shuffling over to them and motioned at them with one small hand as though the mere sight of the delicious things should explain everything. He sat down next to the plate and looked at the door, "The fridge... tried to eat me..." He murmured, looking quite hurt by the fact.
Gera looked at the small dragon curiously before looking at the fridge in whole. He knew the fridge could not physically eat a person or a dragon..least he was pretty sure. He reached out a hand to Ryuusei as if to offer him a hand out. "Silver wants cupcake?" he inquired after.
Ryuusei hopped onto his hand before looking over at the plate with the treats on it before nodding his head, "Yes! Please." He said, tail wagging rapidly behind him as the metal one asked if he wanted to have a cupcake. He really did, even if the fridge had scared him a little it wasn't enough to curb his appetite even in the least. He gave Gera his best puppy dogs eyes in hopes that it would help him get the metal one to get him one of the sugary treats that were on the plate.
The puppy look only got a curious expression from Gera, though it didn't actually aid in him retrieving a cup cake from the fridge. He carried both cake and dragon to the table before he placed both of them down.
"Silver...you are who's pet?" he asked recalling the argument Deimos had told him about with Mrrh.
Ryuu jumped shuffled happily over to the cupcakes that were placed on the table and instantly he buried his face in one of them, chomping away on it before he turned to look at Gera. he was covered in brightly colored frosting and it had him smiling as it tasted soooo good! His found himself a little confused by the question, "Whose... pet?" He asked, tilting his head to one side. He seemed to be thinking on it for a moment before shrugging and took another large bite of cupcake, "Mrrh says I don't belong to anyone and that I am like he is." He told Gera after he swallowed the second large mouthful of frosting.
Gera turned his head slightly as he watched Ryuusei eat the cupcake vigorously. So he didn't belong to anyone? He'd have to tell Deimos that. "Deimos say you belong to Mrrh...got in fight with Mrrh cause he thought you pet of Mrrh...." He murmured sounding a bit on the mifffed side? He didn't trust Mrrh. "Why you play with Mrrh?" Roxy he understood, cause Roxy was cute and fun. But Mrrh?
Ryuusei tilted his head to one side in a thoughtful manner then shook his head, "It... might have been the day I was sick." He said, sounding uncertain, he couldn't recall much of that day. He knew Deimos picked him up, remembered some loud noise, then he was with Mrrh. He shrugged then took another bite of his cupcake, tail wagging wildly behind him before he turned back to looking at Gera. It seemed odd, he was... rather talkative today, wasn't he? He couldn't recall Gera ever talking with him before, just sort of... starring.
"Mrrh saved me!" Ryuu chirped, giving a cheerful, frosting covered smiled.
Gera gave him a strange look. Mrrh? Saved him? Was this the same Mrrh he was use to having around? The one that put him on edge all the time? Granted Mrrh had never done anything... so it wasn't like he had any reason to really distrust Mrrh.
"sounds like you like Mrrh.." He replied finally. Though he didn't get it.
Ryuu nodded, "I love Mrrh." He said, finishing off his cupcake before he looked at the second one that was sitting there complete and untouched. He plopped down on his backside, starring it down, then looked over at Gera, "Do you think it would be okay if I ate it? Or does that one belong to someone else?"
Gera looked to the cupcake and then back to the small dragon. How could it still possibly be hungry? He went to remove the cupcake from the counter as it looked like Ryuu was contemplating pouncing it as well.
"Roxy's.." He stated firmly, moving it back into the fridge. He thought on what the dragon had stated about loving Mrrh.
"Really love Mrrh?" he asked and he then came back to the table. "How you know it love?"
Ryuu squeaked then shuffled along after the cupcake to the edge of the table he was on but could get no farther as he was to fat to float at the moment, almost to much so that he could barely shuffle along. He gave a little pout as he watched the treat get put back in the fridge. Well... if it belonged to Roxy he might be able to get her to share later he thought to himself. He sat glanced over at at Gera, tilting his head to the side as though confused, "Really, really." He agreed, nodding his head, "He is always very nice to me, carries me around, feeds me, saved me before, took care of me when I was sick. He is the person I love most! Though I love Roxy too, she is very nice as well and fun to play with." His tail wagged as he thought about his two most favorite people.
Gera didn't get it at all, it was like hearing that Satan had turned over a new leaf and was helping the poor. He shook his head and then went to stand before Ryuusei again, "I don't understand." He replied, as he didn't. "Mrrh is dangerous...Kay says." He explained and there was just something dangerous about Mrrh. "But Mrrh not around as of late. You know where gone?"
Ryuu looked up at Gera as though he'd grown a second head before he shook his head and stomped a little hand, "No, Mrrh is not dangerous! Expect to mean crows!" He said, never having really seen anything other then Mrrh at his best so he had no idea, not to mention that having been saved by him after being first born had elevated the guy to hero status in the little dragon's mind. He cocked his head to one side before shaking head, "I saw him in the park reading a while back. He doesn't come back here?" He looked and sounded worried about that, already wondering if he should go and search for him, what if he got lost?!

A Friendly Gera? Part Two
Gera shrugged his shoulders, a new trait he had picked up to indicate he had no idea. "Mrrh come and goes. I just keep Roxy safe." He explained. Indicating that he didn't have any clue where Mrrh was as of late. He still was having a hard time visioning him as a good guy.
Ryuu nodded his head, "I come and go to, maybe I will get lucky and run across him again." He said, giving a smile before he shuffled over to Gera, looking over closely, seeming to be sizing him up, then after a moment he made a flying jump to land on one of his arms and set to climbing up him, settling down on his shoulder and poked at the gem he had set in it before looking over at Gera, "Where is Roxy?" He asked curiously, if Gera watched her maybe he would know where she was today.
For the first time it dawned on him he wasn't sure. He had been so absorbed in his running around and learning things and having an actual life of sorts that he had no clue where Roxy was. It was a trifling disturbing thought.
"I don't...know." He replied finally the urge to go on lockdown and find her was rising.
Ryuu looked more then a little confused as moved so that he look into the gem to see his reflection, grinning a bit then blinked, "Wow... I have a lot of frosting on me." He said, setting to work trying to clean himself off as a cat might. He watched Gera as he did so then gave a smile, "I am sure she is fine." He told him, giving the metal one a pat with one of his small hands.
Gera snapped out of it a moment later nodding his head slowly, "Yes...I suppose she will be okay.." his tone sounding more like he had before. more like a robot. Though he didn't look to Ryuu as he walked towards the sink to grab a paper towel to offer it to Ryuu, though he seemed rather distracted now.
Ryuu took the paper towel and set to rubbing against it to try to get the rest of the sugary icy off of himself, then he smiled up at Gera, smiling up at him though noticed that he was looking rather... stiff again, wasn't he? He wanted to make him feel better so he reached back to snag one of his blue stars and held it out to him, offering him it though he was sure that Gera had no idea what to do with it unlike Roxy or Mrrh, still if he thought it could make him perk up he would attempt it. Gera looked down at the little one wondering what the star was for. It was silvery and he wondered if it was metal.
"Are you sure?" He asked sounding more like he had a moment ago, more..natural. "Is it made of metal?" he inquired bending over to take a look at the star.
Ryuu tilted his head to one side and seemed to be thinking on it, "Ahh.. Hmm... I'm not sure what its made of." He said, giving a bit of a smile. He had no clue, "All I know is they are magic!" He chirped, he couldn't explain why because it wasn't granting wishes if you told someone what the stars did. He had more fun granting the wishes that people said without really thinking, just wishing for something that came off the top of their head since at the time it was what they wanted.
Gera took the star and stared at it between his fingers. He couldn't absorb it, so it wasn't metal, and he wasn't sure what this...magic thing was about either. Magic?
"What does this magic do?" he asked looking to little little silver dragon finding this magic thing a very complex subject
Ryuu opened his mouth then closed it, head tilting to the side and seemed to be thinking on what he could say, "It... umm... makes people happy!" He said, well most of the time, there was always that one little hiccup of a wish that he'd granted that threw off his perfect record of making people happy after all. Still the majority of the wishes had gone well so he could say that his magic was for making people that way!
Gera looked the star over again a bit on the skeptical side. It made people happy? He rotated it so he cold look the whole thing over.
"How?" He asked as he had no idea how an item like this was suppose ot make people feel happy.
Ryuu tilted his head to the side and he seemed to be thinking for a moment more before tilting his head to the side, "Ahh... well.. you just have to..." He trailed off, unable to finish the thought, "They just do! With magic!" He said, wagging his tail and then hopped up and down on the shoulder of his metallic companion in hopes that he would understand the fact that they were just that amazing! They weren't something that could explained because he wasn't allowed to explain the tricks behind it.
Gera looked to the stare again and then a small box like hole seemed to open up on his free arm. "Mine? To keep?" he asked as he dropped the star into the crevice which was then plated up like a box.
Ryuu blinked a couple times as Gera took the star and dropped int into a strange hole that appeared in the side of his arm. The metal of his armor seemed to swallow up the star before he gave a slow nod of his head, "Ahh... sure! And one day you will say the magic words and poof! Instant happiness." He said, hoping that the metal one would figure it out so that he would get more out of the star then just a star to carry around that wouldn't really do much other then be star shaped.
Gera wondered why Silver couldn't just tell him the magic words, it seemed strange but he didn't argue. "Thank.. .you?" He replied as he then went to offer Silver his arm to grab hold of.
"Did you want to see if Roxy is home?"
He nodded his head rapidly, smiling in a happy manner, "Sure!" He chirp, crawling happily along his arm. He found that his arm was pretty good to crawl along since it seemed to have many groves to grasp hold of. He purred as he went then looked up at Gera, smiling and wagged his tail as he waited for him to go so they could search for the blond girl.
They looked all over the household but there was no Roxy to be found, Gera apologized and sighed.
"It's...strange..I always knew where she was..." He grumbled, "I wish I knew where she was Silver...then I'd know for sure where she was..."
Ryuu looked a little put out at first when it seemed that there was no Roxy anywhere to be had. So both of his best friends had gone MIA at the same time? A part of him wondered if they had left together without him, something that made him pout a little bit. Surely they wouldn't go out and have fun without him? He shook his head, well either way he would wait for them to... his line of thought trailed off and the stars around him started to whirl around in a circle like a frame and a picture appeared in it of Roxy, somewhat like watching a television.
"Ohhh... I wanna see!" He chirped, crawling up higher so that he could look into it to see what was in it.
The image was of Roxy she was talking with Kay and the scene seemed really familiar though he wasn't exactly sure why he remembered it.
"Oh..she is with Kay.." he murmured looking, he supposed Kay was safe enough. To Ryuu though the biggest difference was that Roxy looked..older.
Ryuu tilted his head to one side, taking in the details of Roxy's change then looked at Gera who had also changed... and then looked down at himself and found himself a little curious about what had caused them to change in such ways when he was staying the same. The stars whirled for a moment to before the burst off in all directions before they slowly returned to floating in a swarm all around the little dragon who gave a bit of a yawn. Some wishes left him a bit sleepy, "Did that help?" He asked of Gera.
Gera nodded his head, that was a very neat thing Silver did. He hadn't made the connection that his wording was what caused the stars to swirl around like that. He just thought it was something Silver could do with his magic.
"Yes...I..am happy to know she is safe." He replied noting the dragon looked tired.
"Did you want me to put you in Roxy's room?"
The little dragon shook his head, "Want to wait on Mrrh's couch, so I can see him if he comes home." He told the metal boy, giving a bit yawn before he nuzzled against a smooth section on Gera. He didn't know if the other boy would show up but he could always try he thought to himself in a sleepy manner.
Gera nodded his head and then headed down towards the stairs walking down them before he paused in front of the vacant couch that belonged to Mrrh. He still didn't understand why Silver loved Mrrh. But he lowered the dragon down so he could hop off of him.
The little dragon hopped down and shuffled along the couch and flopped over on it. He looked over at Gera and smiled, "You are nicer then I thought you were, Gera." He murmured, tail thumping lightly against the couch, "Thank you for playing with me today." With that his dark eyes fluttered closed and he was soon snoozing again, his body curling up into a glimmering silver ball.

Gera the Bank: Part One - Aim rp with Orpheus
This was a VERY serious situation, very serious, Roxy hmmmed and hawed as she examined the dumped contents of her star shaped change purse. Newly acquired you could say, and she hmmmed some more as she went about separating the pennies from the larger stuff. She had quite a few pennies....
"Hrms...looks like..." she went to add up the change..."About a dollar worth here...mostly copper." She stated pointing to the one centers all piled into nice little piles of ten. Easier to count anyway.
"What you got Silver?" She asked looking to the small dragon to see what he may of found in the couches.
Ryuu lifted his head up from where he was wiggling his way under the cushions on the couch, "Five big silver ones, three medium silver ones, seven little silver ones, and... a lot of the copper ones." He said, he'd lost count with those. Who would have thought that couches had a taste for eating coins? It was a rather interesting thing to learn and he could only hope that in retaliation for taking the coins that the couch didn't eat him instead.
Roxy gave a small crow, "Awesome! bring em over Silver we can count up our bounty and see if its enough to appease the god of the fountain." She continued, having elaborated on the story of the wising fountain a bit more..to make it more..dramatic. And theatrical. She loved a good drama. "remember what I told you..the Fountain god is rather lazy and greedy we have to bribe him if we wanna make sure your wish comes true." she continued, though in all honesty she was trying to prolonged this going to the fountain thing, she knew the dragon could grant wishes...but fountains? not really and she didn't want to see the poor thing heartbroken.
Ryuu looked at the pile of coins before he picked up all that he could to fly them to the table, making several trips to actually get them all there before he nodded his head, "It doesn't seem very nice of the Fountain God." He said, then looked over the change that they had, wondering if it was enough, "This seems like lots! Will the God like this much?" He asked of Roxy who seemed to be quite smart as well as being very well informed about the Lazy God.
Roxy looked the pile over and then tilted her head, rubbing her chin thoughtfully, "Hrms......" She was thinking allowed when suddenly the glowing figure of her brother came into view. "GERA!" she cried out getting up abruptly, and moving towards her brother who merely stared at her as if startled.
"we need your help Gera, " she waved towards the coinage on the table. "We need more coins to appease the fountain god."
The little dragon spun around quickly when he saw Roxy go racing over to Gera and he quickly followed landing on Roxy first then jump onto Gera's shoulder, "Can you help!?" He asked, almost as dramatically given the fact that he was getting swept up in Roxy's mood as well as swept up in the story that she had told him. Gera was strong! Surely he would know what to do as well?
"Please, Gera?" He asked, giving the metal one his best puppy dog eyes.
Gera looked to his sister and then to Ryuusei and looked obviously dumbfounded with the sudden request for help. Help? With...what? And what was a fountain god? He was so very lost...
"what...am I doing?" he asked tentatively, though Roxy had already grabbed his metallic hand and then dragged him over tot he table covered in coins. She gestured to it dramatically.
"We need more coins to appease the fountain god. We need your help to find more." She explained with a curt nod of her head.
Gera lifted a hand to the table to look at these coins...and suddenly they all seemed to shiver...and then rattle across the table to Gera's outstretched hand...sticking to him like a magnet and then absorbed.
Roxy only looked at him...dumbfounded..
"You...didn't...just...do that.."
Ryuu gave a happy sound when Roxy out Gera to work, he wondered if he would be able to pick up the couch so that they would be able to look under it for any coins that had fallen there. He looked at Gera as he walked over to the table to look at the coins, "This is what we have collected so far! They are going to go..." He trailed off as he watched the coins as they started to shiver on the table and then suddenly went racing toward Gera's hand, "Wha?" He looked more then a little shocked by the fact that the coins were going to him.
A squeal of shock escaped from the dragon as the offering that was supposed to be for the Lazy Fountain God stuck to Gera and then was absorbed into him. The dragon jumped down off of his shoulder the land in front of him, pushing his little hands against Gera's larger one, "No... no! Come back coins!" He said, as though calling after them would bring them back from being absorbed by the metal boy.
There seemed to be a moment of perplexed stillness. Roxy gaping and then rubbing her head in frustration.
"GERA you weren't suppose to eat them!" She exclaimed which caused Gera to take a step backwards.
"I..di..didn't mean to..." He apologized though his attention went back to the little dragon now trying to get his hard earned coinage back.
"I'm ..sorry..." He apologized feeling horrible. It was a new feeling..he didn't like it much. Looking to his hand annoyed he then stared at it. There was a rippling effect and suddenly the coins seemed to be blossoming out of his fingers and dropping back onto the table. Well then...
Roxy stared at him. "OH MY GOODNESS! SILVER! GERA IS THE BEST PIGGY BANK EVER!" She squealed
Ryuu looked a bit tearful at the lost of their hard earned, in a manner of speaking, money. He plopped down on his backside and starred up at Gera as Roxy scolded him. He gave a sniffle then gave a little shake of his head, "Its... its okay, Gera." He murmured, unable to really stay upset at anyone in particular. He wondered if he should go and check the couch again... when suddenly the coins were returning, falling from Gera's fingers to land on the table around him and he gave a gasping sound, "Ah! The coins came back!" He cried, running around in an excited circle as he looked them all over.

Gera the Bank: Part Two
Gera looked surprised at the fact he was able to bring back the coins, watching them as each one clattered back onto the table, once every single one had dropped back he took a step back looking a bit confused.
"Yes...came back.."he echoed before his sister went to scoop the coins up into a pile and began to separate them again.
Thinking out loud as she counted.
"Shoot..." She stated as she leaned back, "there is only like...three bucks here... we need more.."
The little dragon watched as Roxy set to work rearranging the coins into piles that were matching with one another before his tail set to wagging behind him... only to look more uncertain when she said it wasn't enough, "No? Hrm... I wonder where we can get more I think the couch coughed up all its gonna share." He murmured, giving a bit of a pout as he plopped down on his belly and starred at the coins, "The Fountain God is greedy..." He told Gera, looking over at the metal boy.
Gera only looked to the dragon before giving Roxy a look who glared at him as if trying to tell him to shut up.
"Isn't that right Gera? the fountain is greedy.." Roxy reconfirmed though Gera was completely lost. A fountain could be greedy?
"We need at least five dollars to appease the fountain god." she stated again with a nod of her head. As to where to get it...
"Hey Gera..can you make more coins?" Roxy asked her brother who only looked at her dumbly.
It was simple math but it still took the young dragon a small amount of time to figure it out. So they had three... and they needed five? That meant they needed... two more? His tail swished behind him in a thoughtful manner, "Do we... know where there are more couches?" He asked in a hopeful manner, looking between Gera and Roxy, if they could find some more of those they might be able to get enough change from them after all!
Roxy was instead staring at her brother who stared back at him.
"Make..them?" He repeated and she only nodded her head curtly. He raised his hands and then wondered if he could. He absorbed and apparently could bring back objects he had absorbed...but create stuff?
He thought on it...and with palms upraised he focused. Slowly small round thin disks appeared, though they were blank...with the exception of a small star in the center. He showed them to Roxy and then Ryuu.
"does this count?" he inquired.
Ryuu turned to look over at Gera as he set to work summoning up coins and he turned, shuffling over to them, and lifted it up to look it over, "Ohhh, pretty." He said, picking it up with his mouth, "I like these coins!" Perhaps it was him being a little biased since they had stars on them and they were silver in color but he couldn't help but to like them. He wondered if the Fountain God would like this sort of coin as much as he did.
Roxy was surprised to see that Gera could do it....surprised and pleased.
"Oh I am sure he would." She agreed with Silver though she was kinda hoping that the fountain wouldn't be fixed yet...she didn't want poor Silver to be heartbroken
"What were you thinkin of wishin for?" she inquired trying to seem nonchalant about it.
Gera on the other hand felt...tired. That was strange. He placed the new coins on the table top. He staggered a bit before he regained his balance. Odd.
Ryuu lifted upon his back feet, watching as Gera wobbled, looking a little worried that he might tip over but he seemed to regain his balance so it must have been only a temporary thing. His attention then went back to the blond before he handed over his star coin, "I want to wish for the secret to what Mrrh wants!" He chirped, tail swishing behind him, "He... didn't want flowers and can't eat candy... which means the ideas the TV gave were wrong." He explained, then cocked his head to one side in a manner that seemed as thoughtful as someone his age could look, "I asked him, he said he doesn't want anything from me but... but he has been nice and always gets me food, he protects me, carries me around, and he saved me from crows! I know I owe him."
He shuffled over to looking at the coins in a hopeful manner, "These need to work to get the Fountain God to tell me that secret."
Roxy blinked and the leaned on the table and then fingered the coins a bit,
"The secret?" she murmured looking a bit more on the serious side. "I dunno if the fountain god can ..grant a wish like that...I mean what if Mrrh doesn't want anything?" She asked leaning back still fiddling with the coin in her hand. She wanted to see Mrrh..she hadn't seen him in a while..seen evidence of him being home..but some of his stuff was missing. Had he run away? She hadn't even gotten to show him her recent growth.
"It's nice you want to give him something..but isn't it cheating ? I mean shouldn't a gift be from your heart or something?"
Gera looked to the pair wondering what exactly they were talking about. He gathered Mrrh was the focus of the conversation...but..
"Do you... really think he doesn't want anything?" He asked, his head tilting to one side. What if that were true? What if there nothing in the whole world that Mrrh wanted? It make getting presents impossible, "He doesn't want my stars either cause I messed the first one I gave to him." He said in a sad manner, looking as though he might have started to blush if it were possible, hanging his head for a moment.
He lifted his head up then went wide eyed, "It would be cheating?" He asked, sounding worried about that idea. He didn't want to cheat to find him a present, something from the heart? He gave a thoughtful sound, "From the heart." He murmured, then looked at Roxy and then Gera, "What would you give your friends?"
Roxy looked to Gera wondering why the dragon would ask Gera but she shrugged it off.
"Depends on the friend.." She explained leaning back, "Evari I'd sing her a song, Aunt Trin I'd promise to keep my room clean..Kay I'd..." She paused and then gave a wave of her hand as is trying to dismiss the topic, "It varies from person to person..."
"I gave Deimos a cupcake." Gera announced suddenly, and Roxy stared at him.
"Ahh... Mmm... I don't think I would sing very well." He said with a little giggle, opening his mouth and let out one long, somewhat broken note before giggling that much more. He tilted his head thoughtfully, "I don't really have a room to clean and Mrrh's couch doesn't need cleaned." He seemed to be thinking that much harder, one could tell just looking at him that the gears in his brain were whirling rapidly as he tried to figure out what it was he should get for Mrrh that was a gift 'from the heart'.
He looked over at Gera a she spoke of what he got for Deimos, "Ah! You know him?" He asked, then shook his head, "He has a mean kitty that tried to eat Mrrh!" He said, wondering of Roxy or Gera knew about the fact that Deimos had a Monster Cat!
Gera looked to Ryuu and then nodded his head,
"Gigan, he is Deimos cat." He explained, though he figured the cat was more of a guardian. Gera didn't push the subject of Mrrh since Mrrh in his books was a bad person.
Roxy sighed, "You don't get it Silver...those are things I would give to those particular people. You have to really really think about the person you want to give a gift to. What they like, dislike and then go from there..."
"I know... but hes so hard to tell... Mrrh is hard to read." He murmured, seeming to be thinking really hard on the subject at hand. He didn't know, "All I know is Mrrh seems to be trying to make himself pretty..." He said as though he were thinking out loud to himself. What could he get him that would help him to be prettier? He cocked his head to the side and seemed to be thinking that much harder on the thought.
"Think... think... think..." He murmured, not even realizing he was saying the word out loud, and is tail seemed to be lashing in a slow manner from side to side.
Roxy turned her attention from Gera to Silver, Mrrh...? Trying to make himself....pretty? That didn't sound like Mrrh at all...
"Uh...how about we just go check if the fountain god is done his bath.." she stated pushing herself away from the table. "Put the coins in the jar Silver.. we don't want the couches to gobble up all our hard work." she cautioned.
His eyes got wide at that and he nodded his head, setting to work putting the coins in the jar that was sitting in front of him. He could only do so many at a time but he was moving pretty swiftly as he didn't want to see the couch come to eat them! He looked over at the couch for a moment as though afraid it might try before he was hurrying that much faster, "Done!" He squealed, tail wagging when he won out against the threat of coin eating couches. He was the best! He all but purred as he moved to grab the cover with his mouth and placed it on the jar before he set to turning the cap with his little hands, hoping to get it tight enough.

Gera the Bank: Part Three
Roxy helped him out and Gera merely watched looking to the couch and back to Silver as if wondering what they were talking about. Couches...didn't eat. Did they? He wondered what they meant, what exactly they were doing and leaned over to watch Silver more closely.
"Coins grant wishes?" He asked looking at the rather full jar.
Roxy nodded her head though gave her brother a look like don't ask me to explain. PLEASE.
"Yes of course, Silver's been working so hard to gather all these up haven't you?
Ryuu looked up at them, "Yep! We are gonna feed them to the Lazy Fountain God and he is gonna give me my wish!" He chirped, tail wagging wildly behind him. He was young and naive, that he believed Roxy's story completely proved that. He patted his hand against the jar that had the coins in it before he plopped down on his backside and looked over to Roxy and Gera, "So, what do we do next?" He asked of them, they were older and bigger so they must know!
Roxy nodded her head and she wished that she hadn't come up with such a good story for the fountain. Right..uh now what. She wished had a better idea of what Ryuu wanted...
"We could go visit the fountain and see if it's done its bath?" She offered a bit reluctantly. Gera stared at her.
"Fountains don't.."
"YES they do Gera..when they are wishing fountains." Roxy stated firmly.
Ryuu looked back and forth between the pair before he smiled, tail swishing behind him as he hopped up onto the Jar and from it onto Roxy's shoulder. The little dragon wrapped himself around the girl's neck lie an ornate silver necklace before he smiled, "Ready to go!" He chirped, purring a bit in delight. Time to go and check on the fountain, to see if it would be ready yet. He sure hoped so! He would be careful though not to get his hopes up though, since the Fountain God was lazy that might mean it could take some time for its bath.
Roxy was hoping that the fountain would still be out of service. Oh please let it be out of service...
"Gera you better grab the money, no eating it this time..and come on Silver let's get going," She stated moving towards the door and going to open it. "We shall make a trip to the fountain and see if its ready yet."
Gera nodded his head and then gathered up the jar and followed closely behind them.
Silver nodded his head, wiggling a bit in excitement as he watched the way that Gera picked up the jar, heard the jingling of the many coins, and it was easy to tell that he was oh so very excited over the whole thing. Yes, yes! Time to see if the fountain was ready, time to try to make his wish! Though... he would need to think about it hard now. He couldn't wish for the fountain to give him the answer to what he was looking for which meant that he had to decide upon what he wanted to get for Mrrh and then wish for it! Just like people wished for things from him! Hrm, now... what to get for him.
It was important that he figure out something that he would like, something that he would want, something useful to him. He kept coming back to the idea that Mrrh was trying to become prettier, so what else could make him pretty? He didn't think that pretty clothing would be something he would want, that was more what Roxy liked. Maybe something else... not make up, that was for girls, so were pretty shoes from what he'd seen while he was out and about... so what else could make a person pretty? He seemed to be thinking quite hard from by the look on his face and the way his tail was twitching.
Roxy was humming as they walked along, after all she wanted to keep things light and upbeat, ignoring the sense of dread that was filling her stomach the closer they got to the fountain. If it was back that meant Silver would want to make a wish...and she had a feeling that the fountain wouldn't grant any real wishes.
"There it is." Gera pointed out as they neared, the cones and yellow tape was gone.. a bad sign for the blond. She could even hear the water running again.
"Aha..so it is.." She laughed trying to ignore the fact she felt really awkward at this moment.
Ryuu perked up, "Ah? Can you tell if its working? Or is it still getting fixed?" He asked of the blond girl, coming out of his deep thought on what he should be doing for Mrrh. He squirmed a bit in anticipation. Of course he was a little worried... what if the fountain was ready and he didn't know what to ask it for? Would it demand more money from them? He started to bounced a bit on her shoulder.
Roxy stared at the running fountain and she hmmmed and hawed on how to reply.
"ah...yes I think so.." She finally spoke as they moved towards the fountain and then she leaned forward to allow the small dragon to pop down off of her shoulder.
"All we can do it try, you have to toss the coins into the fountain and then make your wish..but you can't tell anyone what it is.." She explained wishing in an afterthought she hadn't said the second part. It would be handy to know what he was wishing for.
Gera looked at the star piggy bank and went to place it beside Silver, seemed like an awful waste to toss all those into the water. Just to make a wish? Wishes were a bit beyond the golem boy. He honestly didn't understand them.
Silver starred into the water for a long moment then leaned on his bank looking quite thoughtful. What to wish for... what to wish for... he needed something for Mrrh, what did he think that the boy would want? He cocked his head to one side in a thoughtful manner, tail thumping against the ground and then a thought came to mind. He recalled some beads that Miss Trinity had, he'd seen them in a bowl, he head heard Gera got them from a store for her. His eyes got wide and he nodded. That was it! He needed beads! Then he could piece them together and they could be worn and help Mrrh on his path to becoming pretty!
He gave a squealing sound as it was decided upon before he popped open the bank and carefully tipped it over to pour out the contents into the fountain.
There was the splish splash as the coins dropped into the fountain and the girl shifted from foot to foot rather uncomfortable. She really wanted to know what he had wished for.
"Uh..did you make your wish?" She inquired as the last coin plopped into the water. A mound of them now piled in the water.
Gera went to lean over the edge so he could watched them as they fell into the water.
Ryuusei nodded his head rapidly, "Yes! I did and I will be careful to keep it a secret so that it will come true." He promised before he closed up the star bank and moved to hop up into Roxy's arms and from them to her shoulder. He settled down on her shoulder and nuzzled against her cheek before waiting, "Is... is it instant like stars? Or do we have to wait?" He asked of the blond girl, starring at the fountain in a hopeful manner, worried that the offering wasn't enough to pay off the fountain.
Roxy chewed on the inside of her cheek. "Ah..no fountains have to use a lot of energy to grant wishes. Sometimes it can take daaaaays." She explained hoping that it would satisfy the dragon for the time being.
Gera had reached his hand into the fountain seemingly entranced with the small glittering coins that covered the bottom. They slowly began to roll towards him like a magnet.
"Gera!" Roxy hissed the boy lifting his head as if confused. "Don't do that. you'll wreck any one else's chance at getting their wishes ." She snapped.
"Ohhhh, wow! Really?" He murmured, supposed he could understand. He'd been left pretty tired after granting two wishes in a row and this fountain had a lot of people coming over to toss coins into it, "I see, I will do my best to be patient." He told his friend, then turned to watched, eyes wide, as Gera tried to steal some of the coins that were in the fountain. Roxy scolded him though which she seemed to be doing a lot today.
Gera withdrew his hand from the water sheepishly before going to stand back up. His sibling only rolled her eyes.
"Gosh I can't leave you alone for a moment, " She lectured wondering for the moment who the older sibling was suppose to be.
Reaching a hand up she patted Silver on the head, "Let's head back then, no use standing here else it will just be more tempting for Gera to eat the coins.." she joked.
Ryuu nodded, looking over at Gera, "Can you carry my bank again, please?" He murmured, tail swishing before he wrapped himself around Roxy once more, giving the fountain a last glance before nodded, "Can we make cookies?" He asked, his mind already on something else now that the wish was made.
Roxy only giggled and then nodded her head, "Yes yes...can't guarantee I won't burn them though.." She teased happy that Silver seemed to be focusing on something else now that his wish was made.

The temptation:
Gera was in the house, it had been awhile since he had learned to loosen up, or at least ignore the other voice in his head. It had been quiet lately, as he went about learning about the things he had known about..but never truely appreicated before.
Currently he was sitting in the living room, watching television. He had stared at the tv before...but never really registered beyond the basic fact it was mindless entertainment. Now that he could understand the shows on a more emotional level he found it rather interesting.
Well as interesting as mindless television could be he was currently watching an infomercial on the wonders of something called a ...Slap...chop?
This information is irrelevent..
Gera ignored the voice. He continued to watch despite every grumbling sound the voice in his head gave him.
Portecting the blonde one is priority.
Gera started, the voice had hit a nerve. He half turnend as he realized he had no idea where Roxy was. Actually know that he really thought about it...Roxy hadn't crossed his mind in a really long time.
"I am sure she is fine.." He murmured to himself half turning back to the television.
But you don't know for sure do you.
Gera stopped moving again..the voice had a point. He didn't know. That urge to get up and tromp over to Roxy's room was tempting.
You don't know where she is...and she could be getting in trouble. Because of your lax in security you have no idea where she is...or what she is doing.
Gera felt his mind receeding but he shook his head...no Roxy didn't need him to protect her,s he had Kay after all.

The struggle:
Gera didn't sleep, he never slept and yet during the night time hours he tended to phaze out. He was concious and yet not. Standing in his room his omnious form loomed just a few feet away from his window.
You are a failure as a gaurdian.
The glow of his skin dimmed and then flared up, his eyes were half open but he didn't seem to register that he was 'awake'.
A dissapointment to all golems...a disgrace.
His body shifted only slightly, a finger movement to show his discomfert with the voice in his head.
Let me guide you again...we will be back on track. Nothing would be wasted...Roxy would be properly protected.
A finger twitched, a shoulder jerked as if Gera was starting awake. Was it true? Was he failing at his job to protect his family?
Shifting he looked out the window and saw that Roxy was leaving once again with Kay. It wasn't late but late enough...should he trail them?
Yes.
No.
He shook his head, Kay would protect her...Roxy didn't need him.
He is dangerous...
His inner voice had claimed Mrrh was dangerous too...and now Mrrh was never around.
"No. She can live her own life."
You will regret it.
Gera only shifted and then his glowing skinned dimmed. Was that true? Would he? No...that was silly.

The hunger:
It was hard to ignore it, that emptiness inside. How could that be? He was solid metal wasn't he? And yet...he felt a need in the pit of him a gnawing sort that he reconized from his previous growths. The want and desire to consume.
He had been booted from the house when Trin saw the tell tale signs of consumption. She didn't want to risk her camera's again.
You shouldn't resist...consume grow bigger...stronger...
It was true when he ate metals he did usually get bigger. But...if he ate did that mean that voice would get stronger as well? He had wrested himself away from that voice for awhile now, since his last growth. It had allowed him to experience the world with emotions and rediscover life. The voice had been silent and now it was creeping back. It bothered him to be honest.
The things it said to him, sometimes they struck a cord with him, ringing far too true for his liking. Other times it made little sense to him often contridicting itself. Those times it was easier to ignore, it was when it spoke about things that nagged in the back of his mind that he felt it ring true...easier to accept and agree with.
It waslucky that more often than not he disagreed with that voice.

What's this?
The hunger wasn't ceasing in fact Gera was finding himself half starved most of the day. Absorbing metals without even thinking his Aunt literally did boot him from her studio. Claiming that the equipment there was too expensive to have him consume. It was true..they were expensive things.
She seemed even busier than normal lately, with her photographs. Gera didn't mind, he didn't really have that good of a relationship with his Aunt. Besides that deep rooted need to protect her..and she had little she needed protection from.
Roxy had been gone a lot, and rather upset lately. She didn't say what was bothering her, locking herself up in her room gave the firm indication he wasn't wanted or needed.
You should be protecting her. The voice continued to tell him and he was starting to wonder if he should listen. If he had continued to protect Roxy, would she be as miserable as she seemed to be now? There was no way of knowing for sure though that voice assured him that if he had protected her she would of been fine.
It was that sort of thinking that made him worry, a new emotion he wasn't attuned to. He felt that need to protect very strongly when he had gone to visit Deimos. Deimos was special to him, his good friend. THe one who had tried to get him to think for himself, make decisions about what he liked colors and other things.
Should he focus on protecting Dei then? Dei certianly needed to be protected at least...Dei seemed to think he did. His inner voice seemed to think differently....though it often contradicted itself, saying Deimos was weak...needed to be destroyed and then protected the next.

The voice:
I loom in the back of your mind, and I am waiting for you to succomb to your senses. To my words of advice..I only want to help you become a better golem. You are imperfect in your resolve. Perfect in your design...
Let me help you.
I can make you so much more than you already are. No one you protect will ever be hurt.
