chouthenekoarmyveteran OmegaX777 Wasn't GIB in the spotlight once already? Or somewhere on the main page? If i remember, some people weren't happy about that, or at least were concerned about a mass flood of new applicants. We weren't nessicarily concerned about new applicants. They can be dealt with with just a little time and effort. We were concerned that someone not in total control (IE TIM OR RYU) had requested it. and we weren't ready for the publicity yet. That plus Agent Caruthers was new on the scene and we were worried about a bunch of hack job n00bs joining because of the zOMG event without knowing that the guild was the guild before zOMG.
Really there is no problem with the GiB being in the spotlight, it's just that we had our turn and nothing really productive came from it.
