Meria bit back a laugh and let herself take a good look at the burly man.
He looked frightened, mainly drunk, but frightened as he nodded, she took a deep breath and spoke, "YOUR MOST VALUABLE ITEM," She began and smirked as he obviously glanced into an adjoining room, "IS IN THERE. RETRIEVE IT FOR US AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED."

Seth grinned as the man stumbled into the room. "Wh-where should I put it?" he whimpered
"PUT IT BY YOUR DOOR AND THEN OPEN IT FOR US. WE THEN WANT YOU TO GO INTO THE BACK OF THE HOUSE AND DON'T COME OUT FOR AN HOUR."

Meria only just managed to not break into hysteric laughter as the drunk did exactly what he was told, listening to him fall down the staircase and out the door, which closed with a large bang.
"That worked pretty well, I think," She said thoughtfully, hurrying to whatever trinket he had retrieved, "Seth ! Come over here, we actually hit the jackpot !"

Seth was just recovering from a burst of laughter and scrambled over to her. "Wow!" she gasped straitening up, her eyes growing wide. "We really did!" she exclaimed rubbing at the stitch in her side.

Picking up the large vase and carefully packing it inside the, now heavy, sack, Meria stood up, "Should we make a break for it then ? I'm pretty sure we've got enough."

"I've got nowhere to put it, I'll stick with money." Meria answered, thinking of the thin, winding, dark alley she spent most of her nights, "What about you ?"

"Not really..." Seth looked thoughtful "At least not a house sorta thing. Okay, let's go sell!" She thought for a moment. The market could be good. But the weapon emporium was out. She broke a grin as she remembered the trouble she had gotten in. "Alright. Where to?"

Meria bit her lip as she spared a moment or two to think, "I know a place in the market," She recalled loudly, her blue eyes lighting up, "Bit of a mini Black Market thing- the people there're gormless, I once traded in an old jar for like 80 Denarius 'cos I told him it granted wishes. The place's amazing !"

Meria flashed a grin back at Seth, "The Marketplace in the Plaza."
And Meria went down the stairs to the door, "Come on !" She said, jumping past the doorstep and starting down the road, not thinking to check for the drunk Swellviller.

Seth hurried after her, taking only a moment to glance at the Swellviller. He was puking in the bushes. He'll be boasting about this tomorrow she thought.
