haha thats kinda funny whee do they got stuff like sandlewood and frankensense at grocery stores? ninja thats deh stuff i see the most in spells that i can never find gonk guess i could find a occult store

There are also botanical shops and online herb companies to consider. In any case it is best to not only know the common name of the herb but also the scientific one so you are sure you are getting what you want and need.
If you come across recipes or spells calling for a certain herb try to figure out why they call for that herb. What properties and associations (mundane and magical) does it have? If it is something that you are having trouble finding in your area then see if you can find a local substitute with similar properties and associations. I know there is one for Frankincense, but for the life of me I can't remember what it is at the moment. If I remember or get a chance to look it up in my library of notes I will post it.

Well one with the same astrological associations and that works for your purpose (love, luck, prosperity etc.)
It should also have similar physical properties. ( Expectorant with another expectorant, stimulant with a stimulant etc. )

ohhhh thats gunna be helpful! 3nodding thanksh! i bet if they made a book of herbs with a list of good substitutes it would be pretty popular 3nodding but figurin it out yourself ish probably half the fun
