Well, it was worth a shot. I asked the guy who runs the school's t.v. announcements if I could dress up as Edward and say a few things about Twilight. (This is the same guy I talked to last year about Twilight. I told him he should not have had Twilight on the air because it is a bad influence for the girls of our school, and should not be associated with our community, or something like that.) He kindly declined my request. I said, "But it'll be funny. I already had the costume from Halloween..." and he responded, "Well, it's not really related to school, so I'd rather you didn't."

I was upset for a minute, then I begrudgingly got over it. Then, in the middle of a test, I remembered what I'd said to him last year. He must have been getting me back because I was the one who didn't want Twilight on the air. Then I realized, now I know it would be on the air at all. Not even tomorrow.

Is this a victory for the anti community? I mean, really, he doesn't want to be a hypocrite. Now he's not going to be able to put stuff about the new movie on the air, even if he wants to.

Also: I made a shirt to wear tomorrow that says "ANTI TWILIGHT"
I still have to paint the hyphen.

Maybe if you were a girl. rolleyes It's an all girl's (CATHOHOLIC) school.

What was that about Operation: Transvestite? You know, you wouldn't like my school.

One thing, if it's an all girls school, then why is there a guy in charge of the school's TV announcements? Or are the teachers or the people that work there in charge of that?

He's an English teacher there. A lot of the teachers are guys, but the principals and vice principals (also for the middle and elementary school) are always women.

The announcements are sent to him by the other teachers, so he really doesn't do that much with it, I guess. The girls who work there as anchors or for managing the camera just ad lib a lot of stuff.
