Heyas! I was just wondering if anyone in the guild has heard or even does splice pokemon. For those who don't know what that is, it is creating of pokemon sprites from other pokemon or their parts. It not a great definition, and it might not be completly right, but it does get my point across. I create pokemon sprites from other pokemon and their parts. Do you?

Yea, PlanetXin on DA does that inbetween making Senshis out of every single thing that has existed in the world and has yet to exist and of these fakemon splices, too.

I see it all the time on deviantArt. It's very rarely original work by the artist in question, though, and is usually just spliced/recolored sprites.
I've seen a few artists actually draw out their splices, though.

I don't splice the Pokémon themselves (not into making Fakémon) but I splice the Trainer/human sprites all the time. It's really fun. Some stuff I've done:

I KNOW THIS THREAD IS KINDA OLD BUT SO AM I.
Splicing used to be my FAVORITE. Team Rocket Rose used to have contests ALL the time but then she stopped. I should have a contest sometime? But then I would want to enter it myself :b
