I found this on Twilightguide.com
The Author of this poem said the following upon submitting it: “I wrote the poem for a project in my Language Arts class last year, its inspired by the Twilight Vampires.”
Vampires
Vampires are told as horror tales to haunt your dreams. Are they killed by wooden nails? This may be how it seems. Nope. That’s just Hollywood art made by sons & nieces. But really you must rip them apart & burn the pieces. They do not burn in the sunlight, Nor do they have long sharp teeth. They sparkle OH SO bright, But are pale white & ice cold underneath. Turning into bats surely did not last. Instead they are thee undead that can run extremely fast. Stronger than the Hulk Though they need no bulk. Can snap or break, Surely they are not fake.
Can I just say, that Hollywood didn't make Vampires the burning in the sun, blood sucking creatures. Just saying. I think she should do her research.

The Unholy Shadow *facepalm* Twilight does not feature vampires! Ω Well, that too. I just don't get this. I honestly don't. Why can't they do their research? IS IT SO HARD?! D<

Wow, I thought the vamps from Twilight couldn't suck anymore.
Once again, I was wrong.

That girl has probably never read anything BUT Twifail.
Although actually, Hollywood DID make the (lie of) burning in the sunlight thing popular.
Hollywood also made sparkling popular, but she doesn't seem to have the intelligence to find that the least bit ironic.

Yeah but the "burning in the sun" thing at least gave them a weakness, right? It gave the heroes or whatever some hope. (I'm more for villains anyway) Meyerpires have no weaknesses at all. So they sparkle. All it really does is give their identities away.
Ω

Ω In short, she god-moded those sparklepires.

I just re-read this poem out loud and realized how it doesn't flow. At all. It's an awful poem. I hope she failed that assignment. If my student gave me that, I would fail her for the whole semester. I swear.

No, seriously though, did she not learn how to write poetry in her school? if I was her mother, I would sue that school for failing at teaching. I mean, seriously. There's a pattern that you generally should follow, am I wrong? I might be, because I'm not great at writing poetry.
