((Time for some disfunctional family fun! xD))
Nirvana sat back and thought over Stoker's words. Though she had asked her mother, and the only response she had gotten was 'You'll understand when you're older.'
A familiar voice echoed through the halls, I'm sure she's fine mom, Raz was watching her.
The title mom coming from Keoke could only mean one thing, she was with Zen. Nirvana's ears shot straight up and she turned quickly to the closed door from which they were about to enter. If they caught her here with her friends and Raz no where in sight, not only would she be in huge trouble, but she was sure her mom would never leave her alone with Raz again. And she loved spending time with her. Without actually thinking Nirvana darted behind Stoker and squeeled out, no more than a whisper, Hide me. She ducked into his tails, her ability to shrink was suddenly at its best.
That half wit daughter is more trouble than she's worth. Zen's voice was all acid. The door was half open, being pushed by Zen.
Through the open part, Keoke could be seen, every hair on her body at attention. Take it back. She bared her teeth.
Zen walked into the room and saw the two kitsu she least wanted to come across.
Keoke followed her in saw them, but didn't care, she had bigger problems to deal with. Take it back Zen.
But Zen was otherwise distracted, she was looking for Nirvana.
Getting no response Keoke pushed Zen to get her attention.
Zen's nerves were stretched as thin as they could get, she snapped. The growl that escaped her maw was nearly as low and horrible as a nightmares. She lunged, teeth bared at her own daughter.
But Keoke dodged, she'd learned how to fight from her mother.
Plus Zen was growing weaker from stress. She wasn't eating, she seemed thin, her hair ragged and mangy.
Nirvana, meanwhile, remained hidden, she heard the exchange, but wasn't brave enough to look.
(Sorry... that was more than I originally intended. xD I was going to keep going when I remembered that you guys should have a chance to respond. ninja )

((and for all intents and purposes... since this RP started when Stoker, Poe and Ahote were teens and Nirvana was a kit... I've sort of kept that idea. I sort of imagined that Stoker and Poe were somehow just a bit bigger than Ahote though... and of course Nirvana was by far the smallest. I realize they are all grown up now. xD But it doesn't quite fit with her still hiding if she's gotten bigger.))
