lance looked at the book in question "sadly no its not its actually a pleasure read" he then pointed to the bottom shelf of the bookcase "that entire shelf is the encyclopedia"

Aria looked at the shelf and gingerly dropped the book she was holding back down. "Well would you fancy that? You must be brilliant for reading so much." Aria smiled and the healing scratches in her cheeks split open again. She winced and frowned. "So... you feeling better now?"

"yeah but i think i should at least get you something to keep those wounds closed" he looked around the room before finding a salve tape "you are right lady is going to have to teach you how to endure pain that is bound to happen but that doesn't mean leaving wounds untended" he applied the salve to the side of her face gently "that should stop the bleeding and it blends with your skin so it isn't obvious but as a vampire your wounds will heal alot faster than a humans your skin will be back to flawless in a few hours"

Aria tilted her head to allow him to apply the bandages. As soon as he finished she sat back. "How old are you?" she asked curiously.

Arias eyes widened and she stared at Lance. "You dont look that old... Well duh. I mean I just can't imagine living 210 years..." she looked over at the girl who peeked her head in. "Hey, Im Aria. You might want to check out the social room... I think we are just about to be heading back there ourselves...?" she looked back over at Lance questioningly. "I mean only if you are ready?"

lance chuckled and said "yeah i think we should get back soon though i think ariella is enjoying not having me watch over her shoulder" he looked to the new girl "go try and find the Mansion social room it should a ways down the hall"

Aria smiled at Lance. "Hey, thanks for listening to me. And for trying to help me earlier. You didn't have to do that but you did so... thank you." she murmured and blushed before standing up to leave.
