Lance walked in and plopped in his chair opening his satchel he took out a book titled "Magicks arcana" and began to read it flipping the pages quickly as if looking for a particular section

good this book is an old dialect and its hard with all the meanings what would nex per gelu mean?
(yes this is actual latin i have a tranaslator up cuz i like to be accurate XD)

"venefictus cruor rector mercy it has some occult magics i want too see if they actually do anything. so far they work just i am only doing the small things for now" he closed it up and put in a large bookcase behind him"i think thats enough for today"

lance plopped into the chair in the corner ariella came in behind him noicing the wall to wall books your taste in decorating has not changed one bit... she sighed and moved a stack of books off a chair and sat down

lance looked up from his book noticing them "hello there" he looked to ariella"yeah its micheal" he sighed and put away his book "so how have you two been?"
