Oh yeah, Teh_Sheba, I heard about that Twilight SAT thing... ugh, it's sad to know that so many companies are making money off of this stupid book and that fans are gobbling it all down.
Anyway, as much as I hate Twilight, I don't think the author of Nocturne has much of a case... one is about a human girl in love with a "vampire" and it is set in the modern age, and the other is a book about a girl in love with a sorcerer in 15th-century France (the idea sounds better, though!).
Ugh, but I hate how the article included this asskissing quote from a representive from Hachette...
Quote:
“The world of the Twilight Saga and the stories within it are entirely the creation of Ms. Meyer. Her books have been a phenomenal sensation, and perhaps it shouldn't be surprising to hear that other people may seek to ride the coattails of such success.”
Ugh, I can just hear that person puckering up to Meyer's a**. Poor Miss Scott, being accused of riding the coattails of such an abysmal "series"... I may just read her book, out of spite
