Sexuality: lesbian Religion: Wiccan
My sexuality has not affected my religious beliefs, nor has my religious beliefs affected my sexuality. I was Wiccan before I realized I was a lesbian, and it hasn't changed a thing.

Religion:Christian Sexuality:Gay
I think that, if anything, learning about my sexuality brought me closter to my religion. It took me into studying for long hours because of my depression in the area. I found a website about a preacher who actually studyed up on the area and wrote it all out! IT WAS WONDERFUL! I am not gonna give my preach or anything, cause that is not what this form asked for, but i can tell anyone the website if they wanna PM me! Of corse, people will walk around and say bad things about gays and that always makes me stop and wonder about where i am going from here. But I try to keep away from bad thoughts! I actually just made my first Homosexual friends IRL! Lol, so maby things will go good!

Religion: Was Catholic now its complicated Sexual Orientation: Bi
I will be honest it was around high school that I started to rethink my religion and all of that fun stuff. When we are taught or preached that love is only between a man and a woman and you watch two of your friends struggle coming out of the closet and with their families. Also what really ticked me off was some of my family protesting planned parenthood clinics that do not even offer abortion >.> and I went there for cheap, affordable women's health. Also a friend calling me a heathen because I did not go to church was kinda the last straw.
So basically after a while I pay lip service to the Catholic Church (aka keep grandma sane lol) but in reality my beliefs is that there is something out there that humans have no control over now be that God or karma I dunno. And that if you do good things ... good things will happen to you.
I just recently after come realizing who I am ... came to the conclusion that I am bi and I would have no problems dating and loving another woman. Starting to think that pansexual would describe me better because well love is love, but you know baby steps and all that.
My religion did not chance due to my sexuality or vise versa. I changed my religious views way before changing my sexual orientation.

I believe that if you are truly faithful in your religious views, then ur sexuality will not affect you in any way shape or form, because it seems that all religions teach the value of a god that loves and provides for them no matter what the costs. Many different religions take on themselves the evaluation of moral ethics, however it is only the place of the God and those of that pantheon God to do that. Many people always ask why believe in something that goes against your entire being?
Answer: because it doesnt go against my entire being. It only goes against what you think is my entire being. The God of my Faith will always care for me, not you.

Sexuality: Gay Religion: Unaligned
I pretty made my own religion after i was repeatedly bashed in church for my open sexual orientation. So now i go, plug in my ipod, and read the bible, disregarding everyone around me. So yes, my sexuality has drastically effected my religion. I used to consider myself Christian (Episcopalian), but now, i follow my own beliefs.

Sexuality: Pansexual, though to most people I identify myself as a Lesbian, because I am in a committed relationship with a girl for almost three years now. Religion: Judaism
I am not attending a synagogue at the moment. My town has a very small Jewish community, and the only synagogues there are Orthodox. I consider myself a Reform Jew, and I have met a woman who is a Rabbi and a Lesbian. The Jewish community seems to be a lot more accepting, so I have never been forced to make a choice by the community as a whole (though with my parents, its another matter, try explaining to them its not a choice). I am proud that I am a Jewish pansexual. And I think G-d is proud of me for standing for my rights and for the rights of other minorities as well.

Sexuality: Lesbian Religion: Atheist
I grew up in a Roman Catholic family. I could tolerate going to church even if I didn't really believe in a "higher power", because my mother wanted me to go.
I finally refused to go any more, when the "girl group" I went to sent me into an absolute rage. We were "learning" about sexuality, and how it fit into the church. I didn't have any problems with sex before marriage, so I wasn't really paying much attention (I am a little old fashioned in that I'd like to a least be dating the person though, and I need to trust them). Suddenly one of the girls gets the courage to ask the question: "What if a girl has a crush. . . on another girl?"
Boy was my interest piqued. I'm all "Dude. She's hot. Do I have a shot?" like the total perv I am. xd
Then the group leader assigned by the church gets this look of pure and absolute rage, and starts telling her in a voice which is bordering on beginning-to-yell: "That's against God, and immoral and disgusting. It is not okay to have feelings for the same gender." And she goes off on a rant.
I don't remember the rest. I think I sat there for the last 10 minutes or so, trying to calm down. The poor other girl looked so shocked.
I left and told my mother that under no uncertain terms was I coming back, and I never have been.
Maybe any slight religious feelings I could have ever had were permanently squashed by that. I'm not sure.
