This sounds like a cool idea, but discussed before was the whole by genre thing, I think that we should vote on the genre also.

kazekage03 I would love this idea. It gives people who want to participate a chance to read something different. If anything, go by genre, probably. And then have people nominate good books in that genre. That would be the best way to control the number of books that are sure to be nominated each month. And the genres could rotate each month. EDIT: Also, there should probably be a subforum for it, to keep it easily organized.

So shall we start the book club this month? I'd be willing to run it for a month, but I can't garanty that I'll be online a lot and I've never done something like this before.
Anyway, should I make a new thread for this or can we make a new sub forum? I agree with Cernunnos that it'd be less messy that way.

Why don't you start this with a new thread, with a poll for the genres? Fairgrass is the only one who can create a subform (at least, I can't) and I haven't seen her in the guild lately.

Anyone still interested in this idea? I'm sorry I was absent while it was first being planned. I think it's a great idea, and we happen to have an empty subforum at the moment.

I'm all for it! Of course, I'm biased with the hope that we would read the book I wrote. XD
But even besides that, it's a beautiful idea. I'd offer to run it but I'm usually short on time. So anything requiring more than once to ten times a month commitment would be hard.
Maybe someone could help me with it?
