King Of Ninjas Oh ok. Yeah that sounds about right. I'm talking about random notes at random times, with every instrument playing a different key etc Hm...You just need to use some more time listening to it . Free Jazz(I guess that is what you refer to) is a bit harder to like, takes a bit more effort I guess.

Yeah... I was listening to some Ornette Coleman. I think I need to wait a year or two before I can really appreciate him.
Right now, it's not quite working for me.

Live? No. Even though I do have to admit that he's very comfortable on soprano, which is something that deserves mentioning, I just don't like his tone.
It's really cheesy sounding. Idk.

Idk. i agree, i also dont like the tone. it doesnt sound like it belongs in the same catagory with other jazz musicians. my teacher and i talked a while about him and we both dont care for his music.

Ash Rail My theory teacher was trying to explain to me why he likes Bitches Brew for the "colors" they play. The idea tickles me. Mmm.....ticklelish..... Anyway, you should think about what your teacher is saying. Bitches Brew might be the most interesting palette of colors ever used, but then again, the colors present in a piece of music are open to interpretation.
