(No one's posting! crying ) "Yeah, the big guy's gonna be out there for a while. What say we buy something while we wait, ne?" Shinichi said, rubbing the back of his neck slightly. "I'll buy, no problem." <>< <>< <>< ><> ><> ><> ><> Kaito arranged the items in the shop in his mind. Okay, so that thing is there, that snowglobe is there, hm... Ooh, a lollipop! Hrm... I might want that later. That stuffed toucan might look good over there... maybe I could get some of those cricket thingies for Hakuba. Ah! A deck of cards! I could use that! The card box stood on the edge of the shelf above Kaito's head. That was no problem for him, though. He took a marble from one of his many hidden pockets and threw it up precisely. Kaito grinned when the box tipped over and fell off the shelf. He caught it deftly with his uninjured side. "Now, let's see what I can do with this!" The mischief-making magician grinned.

(Opps. I forgot to tell you guys that I would be gone for some time......Sorry.) Ӈӗɨʝɨ
Heiji heard a bunch of footsteps and then he realized that someone had climbed up the tree he was hiding behind. He looked up and saw that it was Aoko. He looked out from behind his, well, half his, tree and saw the elephant still out there, waiting for something to happen. He looked at his hands. They were still cuffed. He wanted them off. Now. Too bad he couldn't get them off. дʘҡʘ Aoko looked around for any signs of Heiji and heard the soft sound of clothing rubbing together. She looked down the tree and saw Heiji sitting there, glaring at his handcuffs. (Well, I'm still drowned in things to do because of MY DAD. burning_eyes )

Ran looked around the store, "I'll take a look with you, thanks." Sending a warm smile Shinichi's way.
"Kazuha, want to join us?"
<><><><><> <>< <><><><><>
"No thanks Ran, I think I'll just keep lookout." She looked back out the window hoping to see Heiji safe. At least Aoko was also looking from a top her tree.
Kazuha took a moment to look back at Kaito, Oh yeah, he's plotting something, but what could he do with a broken arm...

дʘҡʘ Aoko poked Heiji's head with her shoe and said, "Y'know, Kaito could get those off for you. Even with one arm." Ӈӗɨʝɨ
Heiji looked up, startled. "Oh yeah, your up there." he mumbled. He looked at the elephant again. "Yeah, I bet he could, but what about the elephant. I'd rather not become a pancake."

Shinichi stood up and stretched his lithe form. "I wonder how Hattori and Aoko are doing? They most probably found a safe place since the elephant isn't going anywhere but... in front of the window." He did a quick scan of the shelves. Nothing in particular caught his eye. He knew that at least half of the items said 'Made in China/Taiwan' on the label, anyway. "See anything you like?" the detective asked, directing a small smile back at Ran. Kaito looked like a kid in a candy store (no pun intended) with his newly-procured deck of cards that he somehow got to fall to him from the shelf above him. Shinichi hoped his double wouldn't do anything too drastic to quench his thirst for excitement. <>< <>< <>< ><> ><> ><> ><> "Hmhm, not bad cards!" Kaito muttered to himself as he shuffled the cards one-handedly. Full House, Straight Flush, and Royal Flush quickly formed and dispersed under the magician's skillful fingers. Making a card fan, he amused himself for a while by making different expressions while passing the fan over his face. "Heheh, that should keep them guessing!" he chuckled to himself while literally face-changing. Smile, frown. Mad, scared. Shinichi on a case, Heiji's Demon Head of Doom (insert facemask change), The sleeping Sleeping Kogoro (insert facemask change), Nakamori-keibu blowing a gasket...Kaito grinned, casting a look at the innocent bystanders who were lucky/unlucky enough to be stuck in the store with him. Did they really know what was in store for them? Pun intended!

Ran walked over and picked up a stuffed lion, "Nope, unless you want to buy for the Shonen Tantei that is."
She return the lion to it's place among the rest and returned her sights to the store front, "Is it me, or is that elephant guarding the store front."
<><><><><> <>< <><><><><>
Kazuha was getting tired of watching the elephant watching her, and to make matters worse she still hadn't seen any sign of Heiji, granted with the elephant right their that might be a good thing.
She turned and through some great timeing locked eyes with Aoko in her tree, she did her best to mouth "Seen any sign of Heiji" to the girl.

дʘҡʘ Aoko didn't understand what Kazuha was trying to say. Something about an angry bear? Either way, Aoko decided to just smile and nod. Hopefully that was a good answer.
Aoko thought for a second and said, "Well, do what Kaito does best, distract people." She broke off some thin branches and dropped them in front of Heiji. "Err, sorry." She said when some off the branches hit Heiji on the head.
Ӈӗɨʝɨ
Heiji huffed and said, "How am I suppose to throw the branches when my hands are cuffed? Sure, they'd fly but they wouldn't go as far as we want. Why don't you just throw em?" He looked at the elephant again and estimated the space between this tree he was hiding behind and the threshold of the shop everyone else was in.
