I guess they can get killed by guns too.
There are guns in Pokemon.
Remember the episode where Officer Jenny was training the Growlithe and there was a robber guy with a gun, and Ash commanded Pikachu to attack him, and Pikachu was scared because he saw the robber's gun?
Then Jenny scolded Ash for putting Pikachu in danger.

That episode got banned. It was post columbine too. I really don't see the problem with it.

I know there was an epidsode that got banned after 9/11 where buildings got smashed by a tentacruel.

There's tooons of banned episodes. Another banned one that featured guns was "Legend of Dratini", where the Warden of the Safari Zone threatens Ash and Jessie/James/Meowth with a pistol several different times.

And then the classic banned episode, "Holiday at Acopaulo", which featured James and his DD knockers.

No, Pokémon do die, as evident by the Pokémon Towers in Lavender Town and outside of Solaceon Town, and that one kid in the Sevii Islands in FR/LG who makes that monument to honor his dead Onix; They just don't die in battles, which is the BS because in the First Movie, everyone was all concerned because the Pokémon were fighting to the death.
Sorry the guote got ef'd up don't know what hapened.
I thought it was that normaly after they faint they stop fighting but those pokemon in the first movie were not going to stop after they faint
