An old friend taped the first movie off of TV. He then leant it to me and that's how I came to find out about D. >D Horray!!

A friend said that I should see the movie and I did. It was the begining of a new love. When I heard that there was books to I was in seventh heaven.

Lina Lemonbane I saw Bloodlust on TV late one night. As soon as I could, I ran to the store and bought the first novels xp I'm pretty sure that this is precisely how I found out about D, though it was a few years before the novels began being published, which I found out about while meandering through a book store (I'm a big reader). It is the only book series I am still pointedly keeping up on at least owning-wise. My last two years of school caused me to fall behind on the reading side of things. My major requires a LOT of reading for class.

Draculas-Mistress I was just browsing the bookstore and it looked and sounded interesting. I also loved the art. Who doesn't love Amano's art? xd Though I actually tend to prefer the black and white art inside the books to the cover art myself. O.o

I have a very very vague memory of watching the first movie with my sister and one of her ex boyfriends when I was... ten maybe? I don't remember how old I was and I don't remember how I found it again with such a vague memory, but I'm glad I found it! biggrin

I first saw the original VHD movie when I was pretty young at a Science Fiction convention in L.A. Nowadays they probably would not have let a kid as young as I was into that movie...
