So then, her debt would not be paid in full. This worked well for Yallinda. She would not have to worry about the tall imposeing drowess seeking her out later in a time that could be more of a inconvience. Her head tilted as the warrior woman would share some of her history with her.
"On your own...how did you possibly survive your Houses fall? Aren't enemy Houses very careful about allowing a survivor to slip through? You could have merely come out and exposed them for the attack." She asked as well as offered the warrior woman before turning her eyes back down the road before her. Her lips did curl upwards though. "I am glad you find my payment acceptable. Perhaps if it works well enough for you I can provide you with more at a later date."
Yallinda's steps came to a pause with Ilyth's own, and she half turned. The warning give recieved no questioning from the healer. She did not want to be recaptured! Yallinda placed a hand upon her bag to steady it, and she picked up her pace to match the run of the warrior. She was -not- meant for this sort of activity! Yallinda's cheeks flushed quickly from her exertion and her hair began to unwind in small bit's. "How...far...to....main...road?" SHe gasped between breaths.

Ilythara couldn't really answer the healer's questions about her house..though they were ones most people asked when she shared her story. She did however feel it was proper to answer her last question as it pertained to the small healer getting away from the brutes that were on their feet.
"Not too far..how are you doing keeping up? Do you need a hand?" Ilyth asked, turning slightly to watch the other run.
What she saw did not bode well..the female was barely keeping up and didn't even look like she could keep running. Ilythara cursed in an off colored manner that she had picked up from her years working as a mercenary and then stopped, grabbed the healer and hefted her over her shoulder and ran as fast as her long legs could carry her.
The small body of the healer bounced around on her shoulder uncomfortably as her pace quickened..but Ilythara knew that the healer would have more chances of actually surviving if she managed the burden of the chase. Even with being off balanced with the little healer's weight Ilythara made good time an was actually far in front of the slavers that had given chase. She paused for a moment at the main road and barked up to the little healer, "Where to now? How far is this House of yours?"

Huh...She hadn't heard that curse in a while. Not since she had--- "UWhooooa!" Yallinda half gasped and half yelled as her slender frame was scooped up and deposited across the shoulder of the taller female. Her armor dug uncomfortably into Yallinda bare torso, though Linda was not about to complain. Mostly because she was breathing too heavily to complain, partly because she was being bounced like a unsecured bag of roots in a speeding wagon, and partly because she could see the pursuer's over Ilyth's shoulder. Yallinda red eyes widened with more then a small amount of shock as Ilyth seemed to be putting distance between herself and the slavers.
She clutched firmly at her healers back, and when Ilyth paused, she released a gush of air. Breathing had been rather hard while being bounced around, and Yallinda had taken to holding her breath for a few long paces before quickly exhaling and inhaleing again. She twisted her head a little, and pointed as best she could down a road. between gasps, she outlined the roads she had taken in reverse, so Ilthy would not have to pause again before reaching Rihn's House. "Not...not so far I think. I'm not much of a walker..." Of course, that completely discounted the fact she'd been carried and dragged by the slavers to begin with... Hnnn...was she going to have to pay the warrior woman for this too? Or did it count as the initial rescue?

Ilythara held back a laugh at the strange sound that had emerged from the female when she had been unceremoniously hoisted over Ilyth's strong shoulder. It had to be uncomfortable up there, Ilyth imagined. What with her wearing full body armor..that had to be irritating the small healer's stomach and torso immensely. Ilyth didn't discuss that though, she just followed the directions the healer supplied.
"Good, the sooner I can get you to the safety of this House, I can draw them away and have my fun with them." Ilyth cackled in a dark menacing tone.
She had had it with these slavers. If they had been intelligent enough they would have gone the opposite direction and disappeared into the Underdark where she couldn't find them. Apparently they didn't care for their safety all that much, which meant Ilyth would get to unleash her fury and blood lust on them. Ilyth rather welcomed that. She was already pondering in the back of her mind just how she would deal with the rest of the slavers. The possibilities were practically endless and all quite morbidly amusing.
"So this is it?" Ilythara asked coming to a stop in front of a huge set of iron gates that wrapped around an inner stone wall. The family that lived in this House had to be pretty well off to be able to keep the grounds up so well, not to mention having two sets of gates for protection. She'd have to look into getting some work here in the future.
"Well, you'd best get inside before they manage to get here." Ilyth said as she released Yallinda and set her down on the ground gently. "Thanks for the herbs, they should come in quite handy. As far as I'm concerned we're even." Ilythara replied as she turned to look over her shoulder.
"I wonder..what they would do if I ran towards them?" She mused aloud with a small evil look in here eyes. "I bet they'd start running the other way, don't you?"

Have fun with them? Yallinda felt a mixture of amusement, admiration, and anxiety over the warrior womans words. She could appreciate and even approve of the desire to lash out at the men that had wronged her. She wouldn't have minded watching even. But, the manner that the warrior would mete out such punishment...it would surely end with death and Yallinda would not want to lose more face by flinching and recoiling at the sight of lives being extinguished. She was struggling enough as it was to keep the images of those whom she had seen die in the past from haunting her dreams.
When Ilythara set her back on her feet, Yallinda suffered a head rush moment. Her sight swam dizzily and her stomach made well known it's protest over the means of travel she had just suffered. Yallinda merely placed a stomach to her bare midrift and blinked her red eyes up at the obviously delighted warrior. "Ah. Yes. This is the House." She confirmed with only a quick glance over her shoulder. At Ilythara's urging, Yallinda backed up until she could wave for one of the guards to open the gate for her. "Hmm. if they are smart they would. But if they have chashed you this far I doubt they would turn back. By now they'll be convinced I had some sort of importance for a warrior of your skill to come crashing into their midst. Particularly if they follow us as far as this House. So..no..I would guess that only a few of them will run away. You should have a merry little encounter now." Yallinda's lips twisted into a wry grin as she turned to enter the gate way. "Don't go getting yourself killed.." She called back as a means of fare well. Goodness...she really wanted to go right to her Rhin right now and collapse in those big strong arms...he'd make her feel ever so safe... Maybe she should... maybe....

Ilythara could see by Yallinda's expression that she didn't feel the same way that Ilyth did. Undoubtedly she was upset by being grabbed by the slaver's and wouldn't condone her lashing out at the slavers in revenge. Yet perhaps not in the same manner that Ilythara intended to though. She didn't really care all that much. Some drow were made for bloodletting and others weren't. She wasn't about to judge a drow lacking if they struggled against more lecherous tendencies.
She watched Yallinda closely after placing her on her feet. Ilyth couldn't help but notice that the healer seemed a bit dizzy and pale of face. She waited keeping close watch to make sure the female didn't faint on her..that would be the last thing she needed right now.
Finally after a few moments the small healer confirmed that it was the proper house. Ilythara was rather pleased when the small female followed her suggestion and signaled one of the guards inside to let her in. At least she was one of the smart ones.
She couldn't help but grin widely showing off her sharp teeth at Yallinda's words. "You think? I suppose it's my luck that they're not smarter then. Mr. Axe has been thirsting for more blood, it shall be a delight to cater to his whim today."
She turned to chase after the slaver's only Yallinda's next words caused her to pause and shoot a look of disbelief in the healer's direction. "Really..you think I would do such a thing? I'm careful, and deadly accurate. Those boyos won't know what hit them when I get through with them. Why don't you go throw yourself into your lover's arms and let me deal with these miscreants." Ilythara retorted with a loud snort.
Then she narrowed her eyes, turned back around and with a loud battle cry hurtled herself towards the advancing slavers. The whole group paused as a whole gaped at her for a moment, and then one by one they scattered like flies running for their lives. Had anyone seen Ilythara's bloodthirsty eyes and her face contorted in an expression of unadulterated rage; they would have run as well....she looked like a woman possessed. And women possessed were supposed to be avoided at all costs; especially if one valued their lives.
