Loki left the room with the rest of the people. He went to the hanger and began running checks on his GINN, making sure that the head vulcans and such were running properly. He was to pilot his GINN until a tech gave the DINN an all clear to Ryan. "This really is not going to end soon is it girl" Loki asked his GINN softly.

Ryan made his own way to the hangar to check on his mobile suit. While the commander of the Magellan would be maintaining tactical control, Ryan was staying behind with reserve forces, in case something went wrong. He had wanted to go with the assault forces, but if something went wrong, he would rather be in a position where he could make sure that as many soldiers as possible got back safely, rather than get caught in a situation where he could only save a few. He looked over the maintenance quickly, watched as the arm blade was replaced on his DINN and then started back toward the bridge. Despite the hustle of maintenance crews, and pilots preparing for combat, it was too quiet. Only absolutely necessary conversation was made, and even that was tense. I don't like this. Its not the enthusiastic chatter like it was in the beginning. The face of this war has changed since Alaska... Something feels wrong about this next battle. He thought nervously, but showing no sign on his face.
As Iquel and the others walked about, they passed by a store that clearly sold various electronics. As if drawn by a magnet, Jan muttered what was most likely "Catch up with you later," and disappeared into it the store's confines. Iquel chuckled and looked at Miluiel. "Why don't we head to the beach?" He asked as they continued on.

Bella watched Jan leave them and walk with an almost dazed look into the store. She had to laugh also along with Iquel. Looking up into his eyes she nodded. "To the beach then. That sounds wonderful." She said hugging the photo album before her. She looked around and back at Iquel. She placed her hand gently beside hers, and walked a little closer than usual to his side. "Where on the beach would you like to go?" she asked Iquel.

Loki climbed into his GINN, the familiar feel of the controls comforting him. All there was left for him to do was wait for the operation to begin.

Ryan arrived on the bridge and sighed as the screens all lit up with information on mobile suits, sensor readings, and other information that would be kept track of as the battle progressed. Camera images sent test runs to the bridge, and the ship's CIC began to buzz with pre-operation check. Looking at his watch and then at the time set on the operation clock on this mission timer, Ryan opened a communications line with the mobile suit decks. "All assault teams, be ready on the catapults as soon as your equipment has been loaded to your suits. All anti-mobile suit teams remain on standby until the assault teams have launched. Aquatic mobile suits will remain on standby until we have submerged after deploying assault and escort teams and have delivered the first barrage. The operation will begin in 5. Reserve units will remain on standby in their machines throughout the operation in case of emergency." He said through the line. This is going to be tough. Pull through guys. He thought, secretly nervous about the operation.
Iquel gripped Bella's hand gently as he led her through the town, getting peaks of the beach through allies and breaks in foot traffic. A sniff of the air told him the beach was not much farther and he smiled at Bella. "Lets find a place that is not too crowded, but not too rocky either. We'll have to look lively." He said to her.

Bella nodded in response to Iquel. For some reason she couldn't stop smiling. Her heart raced with sheer excitement. "Oh yes, crowds are no fun, and neither is sitting on rocks." Bella agreed. "Have you seen any nice places yet? Perhaps if we go past those rocks ahead." She said pointing at a rock peak that stood at the end of the current beach they passed. "Do you think there may be a good place over there?"

Loki sat in the cockpit waiting. He opened his comm to the rest of his squad. "Don't die on the old man kids" He said grinning. He began to feel excited, he was ready, he just needed to launch and the euphoria would take over.

Iquel smiled and nodded to Bella. "Alright! We'll go over those rocks and see if there are any good places on the other side of them." He said as he started moving in the direction of the rocks that Bella had indicated.
Ryan sighed as the last seconds on his timer were counting down. The moment of truth... Time to see how badly this might turn out. He thought as the timer ticked. 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... "Operation Shockwave will now commence!" Ryan stated through the comm channel, and vaguely he could here the same announcement being made through the linked comml-line to the other submarines. "Fire cruise missiles and precision rockets! All Assault teams, launch! Anti-Mobile Suit teams get in position to set your machines on the vertical catapult. Once all surface mobile suit teams have deployed, all aquatic mobile suit squads will move to the water catapult and launch as soon as the shi[ submerges." He stated. Almost immediately he felt a slight shake as the launchers spat out their explosive packages. Soon afterward the assault teams launched from the vertical catapult, he leaned over to one of the CIC screens and entered the code for Loki's video screen. "Your team is up next. I'm counting on all of you guys make sure that the assault teams don't get shot down or damaged by the enemy mobile weapons. Good luck out there!" He told him, he soon checked and saw the last machine from the assault squads had left the ship. "Your up Loki, you and your squad are clear to launch."

"Aye! Launching!" Loki replied. He launched after the Assault squads with the rest of his squad close behind him. "Give those kids a future, let nothing touch them!" He said over the comm.

Bella hurried along with him. She kept the books wrapped tightly in her arms. "I hope this place will have what we are looking for. It would be nice to relax for a day." Bella looked around as if she were worried that one of the gundams would come out of the water and begin to attack them. "Iquel, do you think that there will be any attack today?" She asked looking around shyly.
