I have a lot. Both my parents played at least through high school, most of their siblings did, and all of my siblings and some of my cousins play in band or orchestra. My grandfather played saxophone his entire life.

Yes. I play the clarinet in the band and will be the drum major for my band. My little sister plays the trumpet.
I can't remember who exactly it was in the extended family, or what he played, but I think he had some connection to John Williams.

Actually, I'm the only band kid of the family, unless you count my mom playing clarinet in elementary school. My family's not very musical, so I don't know where I get it from... xd My grandpa loved the sax, though. He wanted me to learn lots of jazz stuff when I started it.

My dad used to be a clarinet player until he started really sucking. Then he went to rifleguard because he was so short at the time and was allowed to. LOL.
My grandma used to play clarinet or trumpet or something. I forget. >>;
