See topic question.
I have three:
- My cousin played flute, but she quit in 6th grade, so it hardly counts.
- Her mom (my aunt) played clarinet when she was in high school. According to the stories me dad has told, she wasn't very good.
- And finally, my maternal grandmother. She went to high school in the 40s, and the girls were separate from the boys in band. She played mellophone/french horn, and was the best at her school. Due to the director flat-out REFUSING to teach girls how to play, my grandmother literally had to teach herself.

My sister was in marching band for a year before I joined. and then she was in it for two more years while I in it. my dad also is extremely talented in the violin, but he never marched, so I guess that doesn't count.

I'm really the only one who likes band anymore...
My family on my mom's side played clarinet up until my mom. She kept going through highschool and still has the lcarinet her and all her brothers and sisters played. (She is second youngest of 6.) I don't know about my dad's side, but he doesn't play anything. i just know my grandpaw(who died of lung cancer from smoking when I was little) played basoon and bagpipes.

My dad was in band, he played the saxophone and was the "band king" of the school. XD It wasn't a big school, but yeah, still funny.
My sister was in band for like only one year...
My aunt was in band for a while, she first played clarinet, which she didn't like, and later played flute which she did like.
Lastly my cousin was in band as well. He was in the band I would later be in, he played trumpet.

Let me see, it's mostly on my dad's side of the family.
~Paternal grandfather played clarinet ~Uncle John played the french horn and was also drum major ~Aunt Cindy played the flute ~Dad plays the drums and random other percussion instruments as well as piano/synthesizer ~One of my mom's brothers played alto saxophone ~Mom plays the piano for a living ~Cousin plays the violin, flute and did color guard ~Brother plays the drums and taught himself guitar ~Sister plays the clarinet and a tiny bit of piano ~I play clarinet and I am looking forward to my 8th marching season and I did winterguard for three years in high school
I think that that's about it.
