Wow, it's kind of a toss-up between Proteus and Loki, but in the end I'd have to say Loki, because 1. He has fire! twisted 2. He's an interesting character because he's an outcast, sort of split between the gods and giants, and makes stupid mistakes because he thinks it'll be fun. Plus he seems to use planning more than his powers. 3. He's the father of Hel, Fenrir and other monsters, and the mother of Sleipnir. xd
Fire powers would be awesome, and I seem to have a thing for gods that can transform. biggrin

I can't say for sure that she's my number one favorite goddess but I certainly find her intriguing.
The goddess/nereid Thetis 1. It was prophecized that if she had a child with Zeus or Poseidon the child would be more powerful than they are. (Makes you wonder What If? ...) 2. She rescued Hephaestos after hera threw him from Olympus. 3. She was the mother to Achilles (who, incidentally, I never liked much)
It would just be cool to be able to live under the sea.
Other things: I like her because in stories she's a loyal friend to the major gods, she saved Zeus when Athena, Hera, and Poseidon captured him. She was friends with Hera and because of that never gave into Zeus. The way Peleus got her to married him was pretty cool. He heald her while she turned into different shapes until she gave agreed. It was her wedding to Peleus that Eris wasn't invited to that lead to the Trojan War. She was Achilles's mom and tried to make him immortal, when Peleus saw she got mad at him and left him but after Achilles died and Peleus was old she made him immortal and lived with him in the sea.

My favorite god is LOKI - he's the god of fire!! - He can transform in everything he wants!! - He's the father of fenrir (my favorite creature), Hel and Jormugander. And the mother of Sleipnir (who doesn't want an eight-legged horse?)
- He's sly and sometimes really evil... - Caused a lot of trouble, really a lot...
- I would do anything to be able to transform!!
