Didn't the creators say somthin' about a possible season where Zuko looks for his Mom?
No. It was brought up, but the creators are so full of s**t you can't trust half the things they say!
Haha your opinion.
But with the interviews I've seen, I believe what the creators have to say.
Not my opinion at all.
They've done it over and over again, interviews, cons, etc. etc.
I mean, especially at Cons, what was all that Kataang bullshit they pulled at that comicon where they used Deviantart Zutara pics without permission. Plus never giving straight answers.

The creators are notorious for their sense of humor.

man..i haven't been in this guild since the series ended..(im assuming they're not making any more?)

yeah..its highly unlikely they're making another season. they probably ran out of money or popularity. who knows. perhaps they ran out of ideas. but really, i was so pissed when they never showed us what happened to Azula..whether was was sent to prison or an asylum...She's much too dangerous to be set free, or banished.

I would like to say on their behalf, while I as well am disappointed in the lack of answers, that it leaves more to the imagination when the series ends. It leaves us room for fanfiction and our interpretation of the future for the world.

What about those of us that want clarity and closure?

exactly!

I don't like the cliff hanger one bit..i surely do not. Sure, it helps imagine us an ending, but please, it is much better to just know the closure and ending.

Closure would be nice, but they're bastards. I won't believe that there's another season until I see the first episode of it. And even then I'll be skeptical, once I'm done jumping up and down and squealing.

I hope so... Avatar is my favorite show. If they come out with another series it would be great. I hope it has the same characters but with them older.

( If they do come out with a new series I wonder what would be the main cause of the series... I mean the cause in this one is the fire nation trying to take over the world. What would the next Avatar saga focus on.)

There probably will not be another series. It's been two or three years since the series ended, and the audiance that was viewing it is grown up from it- in a sense. I personally like avatar BECAUSE it has an ending; it's not one of those over hyped five hundred and fourteen episode long series, where they just make it for more money. I think the dephh of avatar wouldn't be the same if they made more episodes. It's fine how it ended. Yes, we don't know what happened to Zuko's mom, nor do we know what happened to Azula, or Toph's parents, or how the southern water tribe is doing. But the show wasn't made to answer those questions; it was made for one thing; Aang do "defeat the fire nation before the end of summer". The story was focused on the Aang, the avatar. Not those other things. The show was so good we grew close to those other things in the plot, but the creaters were focusing on Aang; no, his story isn't over, but his first chronicle is. Now he has to try to create peace in a broken and scarred world.
