Laughing, the diclonius began jumping all over the place just enjoying her abilities. Though there were no real areas to grab hold of, her vectors pushed their way through the growing amounts of snow to gain leverage. Her body lurched at the abrupt shifts of her vectors, causing her body to react accordingly by flipping backwards. Her vectors were allowed time then to push back off the ground and retract far enough so they wouldn't become a nuisance. The flips were almost a constant circular motion, giving her perhaps a few seconds to gain her bearings before being tossed back into the air. Not that it bothered her much. As she neared the wall, her eyes flashed. Time to get back down to business.
Controlling her vectors this time, Astraea made sure to launch herself fullforce at the wall. She had taken notice that some ice had begun to form, and at least that would give her something to target. The fire blades along her arms flared abruptly once she was a few feet away from slamming into the metal barrier. She inhaled deeply, then exhaled a large gust of wind. As if she were her own tornado, the amount of air exhaled was enough to send her backward to the point of being horizontal. At that moment, her feet slammed against the wall. She had forgotten to slow down. She heard an eerie crack come from her left ankle, causing her to cringe in pain and annoyance. Not focusing on running, Astraea slipped, and began a freefall towards the floor.
"Damnit!"
Flipping herself right-side up, she dug the blades into the wall. It took a minute for the wall to surcome to the heat, but once it did, her fire blades gradually began to sink into the thick metal. It was slowly her freefall, but left her with a bloody nose and broken ankle. Her aura had flickered out completely while she was concentrating so har don saving her body from a brutal end. The chill sent a shocking paralyzing feeling through her body. Only when homeostasis became a factor was she able to even think of moving. With lips a deep navy color, Astraea sighed, landing on her good foot just like she were simply stepping down a step. The blades fluttered out once their purpose had been served, and the wall regenerated as she had been told it would. Everything was back to normal. Well, at least she could practice her healing skills now.
