Boredom

Del leaned back in her chair, an ink pen to her mouth in a thinking fashion. She finally had time to herself. Unfortunately, even though she had time to herself, she had nothing to do. A sigh whispered passed the Mongolian's lips. Writer's block seemed to also be weighing her down, so she wasn't able to write anything down into her little journal. Rocking herself back and forth with movement from her leg atop her desk, the trinkets hanging from her hair jingled with chimes. Even though the day was growing late, there was only one thought on Del's mind:

What to write about?

Del could write about anything. She could write about her first impression of LOTUS, her memories of back home, a story. But even though those ideas gave inspiration, they didn't seem to satisfy Del. Frustrating herself even more, Del removed her leg from on top of the desk and placed it upon the floor. Taking the pen from within her grasp, she let it roll next to her notebook. It was late. She should change for bed. Del strode towards the side closet. Sliding the door, Del lined her brown gaze over the rows of neatly folded sections of clothing. Bending down, Del pulled out a her clean nightgown. Even within the dimness of her oil-lamp lighted room, it glowed with a white radiance.

Next came the removal of everything upon her. Like the first repetitive step, Del removed the cloth about her head. The beads upon it pressed together as she did so, making a sweeping noise as she folded it together and placed it upon the desk. The chimes upon her hair slipped off easily, as so did the band holding her hair together in two sections. Long, straightened hair fell to her knees as Del turned to the mirror to see herself.

It was the same person Del always saw. A tanned female individual with dark brown set colored eyes. Large bags sagged under these eyes due to wanting sleep. A sweeping waterfall of hair washing down to the knees. This was Del. The same person. The same boring person who joined LOTUS for the entertainment and the excitement she was yearning for. But she felt like it wasn't given yet. Sighing, Del removed her olive gown and placed her side pouch upon the desk. Slipping the white gown over her head, she was ready for sleep. But not yet, she needed something to write about.

Returning to her desk, Del picked up the pen and sat within the chair, taking the same stance she had taken before. Another sigh was whispered passed her lips. She needed something to write about.

Time passed and eventually the sunset evening turned to a bickering cold and dusty night. Del was still suffering from a writer's block and sleep was making her fall asleep upon herself. Seeing as her body craved the use of rest, Del quickly went to scribble something upon her notebook. However, her pen seemed to have run dry of ink. Angry that irony had taken to her, Del furiously scribbled a large circle on the other page of the notebook. It took the pen a while, but it finally gave mercy and bled ink. In very choppy handwriting, Del wrote her entry and shut the book. For festiveness, Del drew a flower to make herself feel better.

As Del threw the pen down, she stretched. She needed some need sleep and that is all she asked for now.

Met Archer

Quote:
Afterthoughts from roleplay, Bubbling Noises.

Del went to the Garden to spend time with herself. She had a terrible urge to throat sing, so stowing away to sing for a bit seemed like a great idea. However, her singing lured company. Del eventually met Archer, where they played a friendly round of the "Silent Game". Del lost unfortunately, but she did have fun developing an acquaintance with the British man.

Tainted Image

Quote:
Afterthoughts to the META, It's Life and Death.

"The man survived. Even with big 'mount of blood, the man survived. Nothing to worry about, nothing to worry about..."

Pinching the area of skin between her eyebrows, Del tried to ease away the memory from earlier before. It was already deep into the time of night, but the demons from the day's events were haunting her thoughts. All the tossing and turning in the world could not save her now and insomnia could not be blamed. Rolling to her side than fixing herself up into a sitting position, Del hugged her pillow to her bosom. "Why won't memory leave?" she asked herself, frowning. "I don't want to remember anymore...I want sleep now...

The thought plaguing her head was of the man who was hurt before. The image of the blood he was nestled in kept reappearing and refused to leave. Heaving out another sigh, Del tossed her pillow behind her and moved towards her closet. She fished through the folded gowns of olive and her undergarments. Finally, she found her soiled dress. Turning it about in her hand, she noticed the red splotch from before when she absentmindedly allowed her dress to dip into the male's blood.

Flopping away from her closet, Del immediately wished to rush to the bath room to clean the dress. But seeing how late at night it was, she shrugged off the idea. She'd probably wake someone up with the sounds of rushing water. Folding the dress back up, Del pushed it deep into the crevices of her closet. She will wash it when she had time, when the memory of the hurt Einar diminished. Crawling into her bed, Del reattached herself to her pillow. "When morning comes...than I forget everything..." Del whispered to herself. "I will forget everything and get rest too."
