An odd choice, yes, for a nominee. Probably most of you don't even remember this lady since it's been so long, but she's arguably one of the best, if not the best female roleplayers that has ever graced Gaia with a pair of D's. Everywhere she went, she would be crowned Women's champion on more than one occasion, and would even win mid-titles mostly held by men. She worked in places like GWF, OECW, PAW, WWFG, and even in a lowly guild of RWE, she was the RWE Champ. How many women can say they held a brand's biggest title?
She adventured off and started off her own guild: AWF, that lasted for nearly two years and was a playground for folks like myself, Soothsayer_Jeckal, Freakshow, Living_Will, and even played host to some greats like The Maverick Jet and Maijin_Inferno. It was also the place where the first Gaia X Cup was introduced, involving three other brands and spawning subsequent X Cup tournaments.
With that being said, I'd like to nominate wards_dragon for the first female nomination into the Hall of Fame.

I would agree with your nomination. I remember AWF very much. It was the guild that I stared the Emo/goth gimmick. AWF also seemed to be booked well so mad props for all the hard work put in to it. I think she is trying a return, last time i checked, in GWF! Hopefully she can make a full return back to Gaia.
(On a side note RWE. Moki';s guild was a funny guild. It didn't seem like a bad place.)

I remember her. I barely say her in action though, but I heard about her a lot, from what she did with the first RP guilds, and even with her own.
The nomination have a good background to support it. 3nodding

An interesting nomination to be placed amongst all of the current-day nominations that have been placed already.
I wonder though.
I personally have seldom seen or heard of wards_dragon's work. Is she truly TRULY memorable enough, skilled enough, to warrant such respect and worth the time to put in a wing of the Hall of Fame? I wonder...

Look at it this way: you can't always have people that everyone's going to remember. How many people can say they remember the Briscoe Brothers? Or remember seeing the work of the Junk Yard Dog or just about any other legend you can think of. Granted, there is Youtube, but the average fan could probably never name a good match, promo, or anything of that nature. Besides, a lot of great work goes unrecognized, and the point of this is to recognize the people that do deserve the work they did and still do (for some). It's important to not only give credit to the ones that made themselves well known, but to celebrate the not-so-knowns that stuck things out for a long time, did well at what they did, and never expected praise for it as well. Granted, wards_dragon was never one to really explode onto any scene or to be loud, she just had fun with whatever she did and anyone that wrestled her for more than a match could probably say that she was damn good.
And I'll play the sex card: just how many women do you think are ever going to get a wing? Most of them are usually flash-in-the-pan types that stick to one guild. Either that or they do it for a little bit and quit because of a lack of competition. wards_dragon stuck around for a damn long time before calling it quits. I wouldn't be surprised if for these first few wings, she'll be the only female nomination.

I second Schev's nomination. Personal issues aside Wards_Dragon was one of the greats. She was always reliable to keep storylines going, and even if you ******** the whole thing over she was very skilled in 'rolling with it.' On top of it all I believe she participated in the first Gaia X-Cup and was even on the winning team.
Anyway... stay tuned to me making my own nomination...
