Nothing really offends me so I cant really agree with the banning or having the rule at all. But it is a rule and he broke it, do what you will.

Silver Were Wolf I'm not trying to start anything either, just sayin' I'm a little hurt that he didn't think to invite me. I talk to him a lot over AIM still, and we really mostly talked over AIM to begin with, but still, you know? Anyway, I don't think it's a bad thing that they have their own guild, and I don't think they'd start anything to flame APG. It was their home for too long, and they have more respect for others than that. 3nodding
I'm not upset that they started one, I'm upset that he didn't think to include me. I wasn't particularly close to any of the others who left, except maybe Levi, but I hadn't talked to him for a while even before all this happened, so them I'm not surprised at.
I came back from a small break and had missed the initial "X is banned here's why" thread, so I found out through the grapevine, too. I was upset at first, and thought it wasn't fair, but I hadn't been told all the details, and didn't want to accuse anyone of anything until I heard all the sides. So I talked to X, and Kira, and Eikou, and Key, and D, and a few other people who weren't mods, and got as many sides of the story as I could, before deciding that it wasn't an unfounded decision to ban him. I still wish he hadn't given so many reasons, but he did, and we'll all have to live with it now. >____<; X isn't a mod there, actually. That's Hisaki. It's her guild, so don't be offended, kay? ^^;

I had no idea that he was banned until just now. Ive read all the posts and what other people have said but I have no idea what my take is. I just know if you really offended someone and that you knew it was in the rules; then I guess its for the best right?
Is it a tempban or a full ban?

It's a permanent ban because he had broken the rules a number of times before and already received a tempban.

I just realized that I think I was too. I didn't bother joining because I've joined
other guilds in the past and then completely forgotten about them, so I didn't
see a point in being a member of any guild other than this one.

I'll admit that I'm in both guilds, but I also didn't know about X until I had accepted the invite (Hisa invited me, so I accepted.). It's not all that active though (It hardly has half a dozen threads.), and it isn't an anti-APG guild.
I still hold to what I said in the last topic about this I posted in. Despite all that he did for the guild, he shouldn't be treated any differently than anyone else. If he had several chances and just continued breaking rules, then something different had to be done. I'm sorry to see him go--he did play a big part here afterall--but he should have known better.

So this is my opinion and my say in this matter.
I sincerely believe in the sanctity of rules.
I understand the reasons why this decision was made. And as Lady Chimera mentioned, yes X has been part of APG for quite some time now. Which also means a greater accountability.. and awareness of the things that can and cannot be done here in APG.
I won't be a hypocrite and say that I will miss him. I'm not exactly his "close friend".. because the level of "friendship" that we had was mostly superficial. I will say though that I find it saddening that He had to exit APG in this way.

I still talk to Bro, and I have heard what he has had to say. I have heard what Eiku and the other mods have had to say. I realized that I couldn't apologize for his actions anymore.
Like many of you have already said, I will miss Bro here in the APG. He was a major part of it, and did what he could for the guild. But... he also did a lot that was against the guild. He broke too many rules, and we mods turned the other cheek. This time, we just couldn't.
There are those who look at the posts here and say 'they just banned him cause they didn't like him" or something else. Please, do not hate us mods for something that had to be done... for a whole now. I was too scared that I would loose his friendship if I ever banned him, and I guess for a while some other mods thought that a banning of a longtime member would resort in a flame war that would tear everything up.
We don't dispise him (though some members don't 'like' him nor do they 'hate' him). We did not do this banning out of hate guys. We did our job.
I will miss Bro and his posts here, but I still talk with him over MSN and in PMs. Him being out of this guild does not mean that you have to not talk to him altogether. PM him, stay friends with him.
