ok what do u guys think???? is the japanese better or the english dub????? i think the japanese version is better only because some of the english voices sound really off for the characters (i do not mean sana when i say this) (im a big laura bailey fan ^_^) so i say japanese what do u say

I've really only watched the english dub but I tend to like things in Japanese withs subs better. Also the english voice actor for Sana is also the voice actor for Henrietta in Gunslinger Girl and its one of those things that whenever either of the characters speak I think of the other and how different they are XDDDDDD
(gunslinger girl = pretty violent)

if you get unedited Japanese with English subs thats best but here are some draw backs

1. after seeing all 100+ episodes what ever the number was, on youtube before they got taken down, I leared that while subtitleers did good work for the 1st 40 episodes, after episode 40, they started slacking off!

(I have screen shots some place) in one such episode the guy talks and the sub title says "I hear San had got no job" other subs I have seen said "*talking too fast to translate*" so subs can be hard

on the bad side of English dub

the legal rights to a lot of the music got lost when they translated it, forceing a lot of the songs to be cut! scream

and a lot of Akito and Sana's profanity (if you trust subs) was also tamed down.

that's so stupid. Like we've never heard swearing before. That is so lame.
They do that all the time though!!! I saw the first inu yasha movie in japanese (Withs subs, it was a japanese dvd though) and when the subbed it for the us english speaking folks I noticed that they cut a bunch of swears that were in the Japanese one. (ebil poopies)

confused Well i think it would be like what you would watch first. if you watch it in jap subb and watch the same thing but in english. They tend to be rly weird. I was watching kodocha in english. Then I went to jap and they sould more weird. so i perefer english for kodocha!
thats only because i was watching it on english first! sweatdrop

I watched both and personally couldn't stand the dub. The subs are wwaayy better, though it's mainly Akito's voice that agitated me. It also sounded as if 50 year olds were trying to do it. I don't know who really did it and I don't care, I just know that I prefer the J-with subs

English 100% its probably because i listened to english 1st...but the voices just seem to fit the characters best (though akito sounding like a man still bothers me.......) English all the way!
