I asked this question on the regular gaming forum and didn't get any responses. Maybe I'll have better luck here. ^_^ Anyone play otome games? What about BL and dating sim games? Angelique, Gakuen Heaven, La Corda d'Oro, all that stuff...

I can't say that I know what "otome" means, or BL...

Magical Girl Yossy I can't say that I know what "otome" means, or BL...
Otome games, I believe, are dating sims targeted at girls. BL = Boys' Love There are a few visual novels I've been wanting to get, but I've never actually played any dating sims/BL games/visual novels/etc.

I can't say I've played anything like that, but there is a DOS game called Princess Maker 2 that some may believe fits into this category.
It's not a dating sim, it's a child-raising-simulation, but a lot of the general themes and situations are similar.

I've never played any of these. Most of them are fan-translated, and since they're usually obscure, getting them is not easy business. I once sort of had my eyes in Fate/stay night though.

 Rulin' ya universes...
;_; I downloaded that, but it wouldn't work on my PC *sob*
I've played some BL games in my days (hohoho) I played Lamento for a while but then my brother broke the computer so it was lost... I've played some Absolute Obedience (fun game~) and the Youka Nitta mini datesim... <3 They're pretty fun ^^ I wish they'd license Lamento, because it's so pretty and the music is so great!
...since 1992.

...since 1992. You probably need Dosbox so that your computer can play DOS games.
It's totally worth figuring out, Princess Maker 2 deserves to be played.
