I hate our percussionists.
They think they're all incredibly awesome, and are completely rude and obnoxious to anyone thats not percussion.
Like today, this moron with headphones in, was wheeling the big case for the bass drums backwards. He gave no indication that he was coming, and I was turned around, talking to my friends, when all of a sudden, I get hit by this idiot wheeling the humongous case. Keep in mind, that I'm short, he was tall, and not the skinniest person ever, so when he steps on the back of my ankles, it hurts like hell.
And while hes stepping on me, hes screaming "MOVE! GODDANG!!!"
I can't move when my ankles are being stepped on now can I?
And he keeps trying to back up! You'd think after realizing he was hitting someone, he'd stop. But nope. He kept on stepping on me.
And for some reason, my tuba playing friend said it was my fault. He was like "You should have been looking" and "Big instruments have the right away"
I'm not gonna be looking over my shoulder constantly going "O_O IS THE BASS DRUM CASE COMING??"
And, I could understand how it would be my fault if he had said something before he stepped on me. But seeing how that wasn't the case, I see no fault of mine.
And at taco bell once, there was a group of percussionists, and my tuba friend walks in, and they start making fun of him to the point where he just leaves before he gets anything. [I don't know how he stood up for them after that]
So anyway, my question is, what have certain sections done to piss you off? Or, whats the meanest section in your band?
