“Do you have any available rooms?” She asks the girl standing behind the counter with the book in front of her
((Sry it took me a bit long to reply. I was a bit busy but now I'm not))

((That's okay. Really, I wouldn't expect too much rapid-fire rping here.))
Lia checked through the log book, tracking the line she was on with her finger. First floor--booked she thought, turning the page. Second floor -- also booked. turning the page again. She shook her head a little as she ran through the page for the (smaller) third floor, which was looking pretty full as well. She was going to have to tell this girl to reserve a room before trying to stay the same night as a major festival. Finally she found an empty room. "We do have one, so you're really lucky. Next time, I'd reserve one. I'll need your name, of course." She smiled, pencil in hand, ready to jot down this girl's information.

"My name is Crystal. May I ask what is going on today? As I passed though what seemed to be the town square I noticed quite a few people there. Is there some kind of festival or something happening?" Crystal asked remembering all the people she had noticed there as she walked though

((You do know that you don't have to tell me that you posted, right? I check this as often as I can...)) Lia's eyes widened just a little. You mean she'd just happened to come here today, without knowing about the festival? Wow, nice timing. "It's the new year's festival," she said, writing Crystal's name in the log book and turning around to look for the key. "Well, it's over now, I suppose. Aha!" She picked up the key and handed it to Crystal. "Your room is 307, if you go up the stairs, it's on your right about...oh...halfway down the hall. Checkout is at noon, and let me know if you have any problems."

"Thank-you" Crystal replied as she took the key then headed for room 307 *I wonder what kind of festivals they have here and what they are like? I hope I'll be able to find some work here* Crystal thought to herself as she walked up the stairs. Crystal arrived at room 307 and unpacked, it didn't take long as she didn't have much with her. After Crystal finished she decided to head out and look around town a bit but not stray to far from the inn as she didn't know her way around. Crystal walked downstairs looked around the room to see if the girl was still there. She had forgot to ask what time they locked to doors at night
((I think that for the time being we should try to continue with what is going))

((Alright thanks ^_^ ))
Not expecting to get caught, Alice quickly looked around the surrounding area to see who he was talking to. But when she realized that the only person around was her...well a look of total surprise was all you could see before she completely left the confines of the pond and stood hovering before the human male. "You mean you can actually see me?" she asked him while flying slowly around his body. She just couldn't believe it. If being seen by them was that easy then she would have openly stared at them a long time ago.

When Crystal came back downstairs, Lia wasn't there. Instead, she was in the kitchen, putting all the food away and getting dinner started. It was a fairly simple meal -- tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwhiches -- but really it was meant to feed all the guests that didn't get dinner elsewhere. Mineral Town didn't have much in the way of restaurants. Once she got the soup to the point where she could leave it alone, she went back out to the counter, waiting for someone else to arrive. She saw Crystal, and waved, smiling.

Crystal continued looking around the room till she noticed the girl standing behind the counter so she walked over to the counter "Mrs. I forgot to ask earlier what time you lock the inn doors at night"

(Sorry the rp died guys. I'll definitely start checking a lot more often.)
Running. Running as fast as he could down the path. That was what Deryn was doing. He kind of remembered what happened. There was a woman with green hair just floating there. And when he said something she responded and- Well he kind of screamed and ran away. Which he was still doing. Down the path past the carpenter's through the town and finally he arrived the Poultry farm, panting. When he went inside his mother and father were sitting at the table. "Mom" he gasped "Dad" He still couldn't quite catch his breath. "I saw a- I saw a ghost." "Oh, not this again." Rick said, sighing.
